  1. Yeah, I think they did a good job on both... they captured the 1:1 differences between the concept and production pretty accurately.
  2. I suspect HW will have a production version of the Camaro out by the end of the year or next year. They've done concept and production versions of the Challenger so far.
  3. Ah, too bad to hear..I used to frequent a Bennigans in Colorado that was close to where I worked a few years ago..
  4. Kinda cool...I recall reading about someone putting a modded Shelby turbo engine, etc. in a Caravan or Voyager..was quite fast, IIRC.
  5. It's easy enough in my Jeep (automatic, good cupholders), but near-impossible in my Mustang (stick shift, no cup holders). I remember once trying to drink a Mc Donalds coffee, eat a bacon/egg/cheese biscuit, drive and shift at the same time...messy.
  6. Yes, that seems like a really bad move...the G6 is the most distinctive of the NA Epsys, what with the coupe and convertible versions. To do blantant badge engineering smells of despiration and surrender.
  7. Ugh...sounds like they need to use a tongue condom.
  8. The best part of having a new car, though, is you don't have to deal with the old car headaches..the breakdowns, the constant repairs, etc. Plus, you get the modern features. 10 yr/100k mi is my limit for a daily driver.
  9. A bidet also would help with that, or the occasional pressure wash and wax.
  10. Amazing to see Honda get bad press...usually they walk on water, cure cancer, can do no wrong. But, also, IIRC, Clarkson on TG didn't like the current Civic Type R as much as the previous one.
  11. That would be cool... how about a clone of the Y-Job....one of my favorite concept cars. Or the Phantom Corsair, which would have made a great Batmobile, IMHO. Another concept I'd love to see a running version of was Bill Mitchell's Pontiac Phantom from the late '70s...was very pointy.
  12. I've seen one of those Montanas...and a Lobo, and a few Chevy Sonoras (aka Tahoe). And Ford Mondeos, Fiestas, a Ka, an '80s Dodge Magnum, a Pontiac G2, a VW Sprinter (strange hatchback), and a Chevrolet Chevy (Corsa). Lots of Mexico plated cars here in Mexizona.
  13. Just kidding about the Camry. What I'd really like to build (w/ my own money) would be a late model Town Car with the Shelby Mustang 500hp V8, tweaked suspension, etc. Basically, an AMG style Hot Rod Lincoln.
  14. How about a rat rod styled 1st gen Camry. Whitewall tires, red wheels w/ moon hubcaps, flat black paint over bubbling rust, flames, Moon eyes decals.
  15. That's what I'm thinking...I'll probably keep the Jeep forever, it only has 92k.... I'll need it when I'm back in Colorado.
  16. It worked pretty well..... I did get one of the free t-shirts. The name of the product reminded me of 'Colon Blast', which was used to amusing affect in the movie 'Van Wilder'..
  17. True enough... it's a scary place to the uninitiated, no doubt.
  18. Cool...I love old British cars... back in Ohio, near my Mom's place is a white '60s Cortina...it's been sitting outside a garage in this small Ohio town for at least 15 years...would love to have the time and place to tinker with it.
  19. Hmm...never heard of that. Since I can't see my pooper, I don't know what color it is. I have taken care of the insides, though, with Colon Blow <tm> Colon Blow
  20. One would think so..the car isn't competitive or remotely up to date now, I can't imagine how dated it will seem if unchanged 5 years from now..
  21. I saw a sharp gold w/ black top '72 Ninety-Eight 4dr ht on Hwy 1 in the Florida Keys a week ago Sunday. Neat to see those old yachts being driven.
  22. Also saw a strange early '80s Caddy Coupe de Ville 'El Camino'. I don't know if it was a modified flower car or a custom, but I just caught a quick glimpse of it in traffic.
  23. 5 more model years of the W? Same old, same old? 4spd automatic? I guess GM has a long term contract w/ Avis to provide 'em...
  24. My favorite Eldos are the '67-70s, but I like the mid '70s convertibles for their outrageousness, their aircraft-carrier dimensions...last of the truly huge land yachts.
  25. I saw the 'stealth' Century again today..I've seen this car every day over the last week, it's a late '90s Century painted flat black all over---wheels, grille, chrome trim, etc. Reminds me of an OCP Taurus from Robocop.
