  1. If they didn't have them, Saturn and GMC dealers would be angry, I think.
  2. If I were to get a small high mileage car, I'd probably look seriously at a diesel Jetta (I hope they offer the Rabbit with a diesel here, I prefer hatchbacks in small cars), a Prius (3 of my coworkers have 'em, so I'd fit right in), or a Mini...
  3. The coupe looks very sharp in white, doesn't it?
  4. Thanks....probably going to have a low key day at home with a lot of pool time then out to dinner w/ some friends at one my favorite restaurants.
  5. One of my coworkers has been whining about the gas prices...he has a Tahoe, his wife an Escalade...he's been riding his Harley alot lately and letting the Tahoe sit.
  6. Bush, definitely. He's the poster child for incompetence, the very definition of the word. Worst president ever, IMHO.
  7. 1) 0 2) I will test drive the Acadia if I look to replace the GC
  8. 1) 0 2) I will definitely test drive the G8 GT
  9. 1) 0 2) No
  10. 1) 0 2) No
  11. 1) 0 2) A Camaro conv. possibly
  12. 1. 0 2. Quite possibly (> 50%) a CTS sedan or coupe within the next two years
  13. 1) 0 2) no
  14. 1) 0 2) never
  15. And there is no God, as atheists like myself believe...religion is the root of all evil, IMHO.
  16. Surprising, but true. I see so many signs around here that are in English and Spanish, you would think that AZ was officially bilingual....
  17. That does seem a bit suspicious..the current Aura gets decent mileage, and the Insignia is a bit larger... they should offer it in the US with some diesel options..
  18. Panel versions of the current Tahoe and Suburban would look pretty cool, I think. With barn doors.
  19. I like that...I learned to drive with a stick. Did my driver's road test in my 52hp 5-speed Escort diesel! I'll always own a mix of automatics and manuals...(automatic for luxury and SUV, manual for performance cars).
  20. I guess GM is just going back to what they know...FWD. They have spent almost 30 years building mostly FWD generics, so they are retreating to their comfort zone...
  21. True...a RWD sedan with a V8 and manual transmission..when was the last time GM NA had anything with this configuration (ignoring the CTS-v).... 40+ years ago? RWD sport sedans (other than the CTS) are a new concept for GM...
  22. I saw a '67 Chevy panel truck last year in Denver..those have to be pretty rare..
  23. 'Viva la Vida', the new Coldplay album..really liking it after a few listens, esp. the track 'Lovers in Japan', can really feel the Eno influence.
  24. I really do wonder how they are going to sell them, though...esp. if gas goes to $5 and above before the end of the year..
  25. Looks like the Traverse will be a good family hauler for the post-SUV era...still too heavy, though.
