  1. It's fastest for land based rail travel. Mag Lev costs nearly $1 million per mile of track and as such is not cost effective.

    Subaru B9

it gets a solid "eh" from me. It's no longer unique.... not even in a bad way. Now I could mistake it for being a crossover from any asian company
  3. in no particular order CTS-v GTO Aurora v.1 Impala SS Z06 Avalanche Grand National Escalade Sky I'm not sure there is a 10th.....
  4. with a mustash imprint....
  5. It'll come out just in time for the Saturn Astra and MCEed Cobalt to pwn it.
  6. *ahem* the line is "Don't you think I look cute in this hat?"
  7. shoulda put the DOHC 3.4 in there to make a real rocket...
  8. 1988 Cutlass Supreme Coupe = 0.297 2004 Cadillac CTS = .31
  9. Hell, I have a Cadillac and a Chevy in my driveway and I have nothing but disdain for the UAW. At this point, the only good they can do is unionize the transplant makes that have setup factories here in the U.S. and start doing their best to run them off the continent as they've tried to do with every domestic manufacturer to date.
  10. Fun facts: Prius drag coefficient = 0.29 1988 Regal Coupe's drag coefficient = 0.305 1995 Riviera drag coefficient = 0.32
  11. Maybe what you were seeing was the "base engine" and if you looked over on other side of the sticker under packages you may have seen the 3.6 and 6speed.
  12. Civic isn't even in the same size class. Camry is just blah... she might as well just shop the appliance department at Home Depot Wranger is her dreaming Aura is decent, in loaded XR form it's almost like getting a CTS in size and appointments. Chrysler Sebring.... well... just do your own search on here about that one. Avenger... not terrible, gut I think the Aura will out class it Volkswagen Jetta.... only if she also gets the extended warranty.
  13. did you never change the timing belt?
  14. Operating a camera while driving is a good way to get hit by Toyotas or SuperDutys
  15. Didn't GM used to put a diesel in the 'Burban? If they don't ever make my E85, AFM, hybrid Avalanche, I'll take a duramax Avalanche instead please.
  16. If it was smoothness and quietness you were after, I could have spent the extra 3 grand for the Northstar. Even at it's current age it's still one of the smoothest on the market. I like Meryl Streep's character. I'm going through a messy divorce and she <Miranda, the character Meryl plays> is kind of my hero right now.
  17. Lexus LS Hybrid.
  18. realistically? economies of scale.
  19. That's about the same premium a Jetta or Beetle TDI commands and VW has waiting lists for them......
  20. Seeing as that you're all my e-friends... I can take it as much as I can dish it out. That said.... I have always stated, "The size of the tailpipe is inversely proportional to the size of the penis". This is especially true in Civics and trucks.
  21. 5.3 from an Impala SS Northstar S/C 3800 <OMG! NOOOooes!@! Pushrods ARE Teh suxors!> I've seen a number of X cars with 3800s in them, so I know those work.
  22. and you people call yourself car fanatics..... don't even understand the basic process of a 4 stroke engine....*scoff* I'm VERY disappointed in you....
  23. because you need something...anything.... to get going... it's the meat down low that matters.... and when there is plenty of it... it's easier to get around......
