    I will be interesting, soon the only manufacturers of what we think of as the "traditional" work van will be GM and .... Nissan. But no.. the Sprinters have severe rust problems compared to the domestic 2. I don't know how the Pro-Masters will hold up rust wise, but they do provide a compelling case against the Sprinter, GMs and Nissan because they have a substantially lower load floor and they have powertrain options that the others don't have (both gas V6 or diesel power) and the V6 has much more power than the old 4.3 in the GMs.

    The Cignet was a Scion iQ Brougham.... there was nothing at all Aston-Marton about it. The Bentley equivalent would be tarting up a VW Up! with expensive leather and a Bentley grille and charging a 100% price premium for it.

    But they'd have to build it here... and with the current state of VW's labor relations, might have a interesting time doing so.

    In this class, if I didn't mind the spartan interior, I'd go for a TDI Passat. If I wanted a more luxury ride and the size, I'd aim for the Impala.

    So pick a version and set that as the minimum version level required to run the MyAndroidUplinkWhatever app... They don't need to go back to Gingerbread.... someone buying a brand new car can also get a new(er) phone if that functionality is important to them.

    I didn't mean why aren't they in Carplay... I under stand that one.... but there doesn't seem to be anything from the manufacturers so far with regards to better android integration.

    i wonder if this will allow jeep to turn into a truly global brand now. I see this thing selling out in both China and the EU faster than you can say Willys-Overland... and yet it's really just a Fiat without the brand name baggage

    egads! the acrua lease calculator seems to be a bit off. 36 month/12k lease $749 a month for a MXD-AWD with 10% down? A slightly higher MSRP Jeep GC is $220 a month less than that.

    Is that a real lease residual on the MDX or a subsidized one? I could see myself leasing an Enclave if I were in that market, but none of the others you list. The Grand Cherokee is still the highest on my list.
