  1. ZL-1, I was suggesting a turbo LT-1 in my post. Remember, the El Miraj is powered by a twin-turbo 4.5 liter DOHC V8 with 500 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. I think it certainly would be sufficient motivation for a step-up engine over the 3.6TT with all of those lb-ft coming on low in the rpm band. Could Cadillac actually build that?
  2. The Turbo-4 is an excellent engine though.... it would ruin the excellent balance of the platform if they put the 3.6 in there.
  3. Some of both I think.
  4. Why are you laughing at the idea that CD players will be gone (from newly designed cars I said, btw) in 5 years? It is already starting.
  5. More likely that they make a special LT-1 variant just for Cadillac than do a V12. Probably force feed it in some way that is different than any Corvette might have.
  6. I'd like to see an ATS bustle back sedan variant.
  7. and Verano too. In terms of capability and materials, the only thing Cadillac could offer at that price point would be... Verano.
  8. What do you think of a little competition for Cadillac ATS variant designs?
  9. He's a strange one...
  10. After 25 years of being the market leader, I think the Camry is no longer a "fad" but a "habit".
  11. 43?
  12. 6-Disk changers are the one common part across all brands that have the highest levels of failures. They break often and cause issues for manufacturers reliability ratings. I expect that they will rapidly be dropped from new vehicles. In 5 years, it will be hard to find a CD-Player at all in a newly released car.
  13. Buick can take the sub-ATS market... in fact, I'd argue that they already have.
  14. Back to real names maybe? More body styles is an absolute requirement in this class. 3-series has it, Volvo has it, Audi and Benz have it.
  15. 6-disk changers are going away for everyone. In this case you're trying to hold on to a dying technology. The seats are sublime and the interior materials equal to or better than the Germans. What lack of attention are you seeing here?
  16. Happy Birthday Snossage!
  17. Nope. GMC isn't listed on the schedule for Chicago. Speaking of which, time to make our spreadsheet.
  18. This would be a great way to consolidate the Avalanche and Escalade EXT into a single model at GMC... then offer Denali versions for the Cadillac customers.
