  1. I WISH I was that way. In all honesty, I'll sleep until 2:00 in the afternoon unless someone wakes me up regardless of what time I went to sleep the night before. Alarm clocks literally have no effect on me when I'm sleeping. The worst part is that I HATE wasting the day sleeping. I can easily sleep more than 12 hours at a time.
  2. My chop of the '07 SRX
  3. I'm sorry but that looks retarded. Especially in the fourth picture down.
  4. The official total for Central Park was 26.9", making this the largest snowstorm ever recorded in NYC.
  5. Although the snow let up in intensity and ended altogether hours ago, school has still been cancelled for tommorow! :sign0200: Just over 24" of snow fell on the area late last night and earlier today. Westchester schools announced county-wide closings for Monday by late afternoon, but New York City Schools remained open until the past hour when the decision to cancel classes was made (I attend school in the Bronx). Roads are still a mess and trains will be on a limited schedule tommorow due to the storm. Since most students at my school commute from Westchester by train, I'm pretty sure that's what warranted the closing. I'm especially happy because I've put off most of my work completely this weekend due to severe ADD. Plus I'm leaving for Europe on Friday, so that makes this an easy three-day week! Oh, and I NEVER get off for snow. I've had school after 8" snowstorms before. In fact, this will only be my second snow-day since I've attended my school (I'm currently a junior).
  6. The MKS name may very well be used for a future Lincoln, but as far as I understand, the MKS we've seen will never make it to production.
  7. Is it me or does the aftermarket aluminum dash installed in this G6 look suprisingly good? That one close up shot looks like it came straight from the factory! Though it could be a little more understated, I think it really dresses up the interior nicely! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pontiac-GT-...611215357QQrdZ1
  8. Guys, the MKS is just a teaser vehicle meant to portray Lincoln's future design language. In essence, it's little more than a study and will never see production (though styling cues might depending on consumer reaction).
  9. I can't adress any issues people may have with feeling inferior to Prius owners, but until GM produces something better (or at all, for that matter), that doorstop-looking shopping-cart-handling hatchback is more or less your only choice. :AH-HA_wink: In all honesty, if the Prius were a Chevy, the cool-aid bunch here on C&G would be all over it.
  10. Yeah, who needs hybrids anway?
  11. I'm surprised to hear she likes the V50 but is against the SportCombi. The Saab would be my choice. I saw one the other day and it really is a hot wagon. Much more exclusive than the Volvo if you ask me.
  12. My speed record is still at 109 in the IS300.
  13. Believe it or not, some heavier bands of snow have been moving through in the last hour or so, even though the storm is supposed to be winding down. Snow emergencies have been declared around the region, and school districts are already beginning to cancel classes for Monday. I doubt I'll be that lucky but we'll see.
  14. So what exactly is going to differentiate this from the Silverado?
  15. This one's going down in the record books. Central Park's total was 23" at the last recording, making this storm the second highest on record. We're currently at just under 22" here in lower Westchester, and it's still snowing moderately. This morning brought widespread blizzard conditions, and there was even quite a bit of thunder and lightning late last night. Forecasters were really off with the initial snowfall forecasts. I'll have pictures up later today.
  16. I see projector-beam headlamps. Nice.
  17. After an entire month of above average temperatures and little if any snow, it looks like winter is finally ready to make a comeback. A Blizzard Watch is currently in effect for my county (Westchester, NY), along with approx. 10 other counties in Southern New England and Long Island. I'm sure Paulie (LI) is getting ready for this as well. Snow is expected to overspread my area in the early afternoon tommorow and become heavy through tommorow night and Sunday. Last I heard whiteout conditions were likely for late tommorow night. Most forecasts are calling for 8-12", though some are forecasting higher amounts. I'll have to get out early tommorow before the storm arrives. ---------- NOAA: Blizzard Watch URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE...UPDATED NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE UPTON NY 343 PM EST FRI FEB 10 2006 ...A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM WITH HEAVY SNOW...AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS IN COASTAL SECTIONS...IS POSSIBLE FROM LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY MORNING... .LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING OVER THE SOUTHEAST STATES ON SATURDAY WILL RAPIDLY INTENSIFY AS IT MOVES OFF THE SOUTHERN MID ATLANTIC COAST SATURDAY NIGHT...AND PASSES SOUTHEAST OF MONTAUK POINT EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. THE HIGHEST TOTALS ARE MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR ACROSS EASTERN PORTIONS OF LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT. A BLIZZARD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FALLING AND OR BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS AND EXTREMELY POOR VISIBILITIES. THIS CAN LEAD TO WHITE-OUT CONDITIONS AND MAKE TRAVEL VERY DANGEROUS. 18. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The front of the Compass is worse than the Aztek. Period.
  19. Great catch carstar! Congratulations on taking some of the highest-quality shots of the new Sebring thus far.
  20. Dog
  21. I'm impressed. The rear actually looks...good? That can't be said about many--- excuse me, ANY sub-compacts if you ask me. It's a shame about that front end, though.
  22. bronzer
  23. Philadelphia.
  24. That's a shame.
