  2. Sure, nothing special. I am not a Lamborghini fan but at Car and Driver Lightning lap Urus ran 2.55.8. Just for comparison Cadillac CTS-V did in 2:56.8, Camaro SS 1LE did the lap at 2:54.8, C7 Corvette Stingray did it in 2:53.8. It is much faster than Q8

  4. Yeah...that would be a personal opinion. I like both equally. But no matter which one you think is better looking, you cannot deny that the other is NOT not good looking.

  6. Target build week got bumped from 3/29 to 4/12, but as of this morning its status code is 3800 : 'Order produced, VIN available'. That should mean it actually exists, in the steel. Supposed delivery date is 5/4, but those are (currently) 'largely meaningless'.

  11. Warped phoquing people. These people are NOT Christian. Nowhere in the bible does it say that sex is bad/evil/sin... Its just says that EXTRAMARITAL sex is a sin. Marriage is a HOLY bond between a man and his wife...no funny stuff OUTSIDE of the marriage... Immoral sex has NOTHING to do sex before marriage or who is your partner. homosexual sex. Immoral sex is cheating on your spouse. Married folk SHOULD have LOTS AND LOTS of sex. Procreate. Be fruitful and multiply it says... THAT is all it says... Phoqued up folk translate that into other shyte...

  15. One is great looking, the other is mostly 'meh'. Is 'meh' considered "good looking"?

  16. Lots of Italians, Sicilians, and Greeks in Steubenville, Ohio where I spent my childhood. Our next door neighbors had immigrated from Palermo.

  17. Yes. Along with a few remote villages in Sicily, some remote villages on the heel of the peninsula have retained modified forms of Greek. Probably because they're even closer to the Peloponnesus. Greek (this brings back memories): "Ohi" means "no," but "Ne" means "yes" My favorite Greek surname: Papadiamantis, also the name of the main street on the island of Skiathos Italian and Greek: I know of only one word that is common to both Italian and Greek: pantofoli (bedroom slippers), thought there are surely others Sicilian and French: The 200 years of French Norman rule is seen in the Sicilian dialect, where some words come from French, like some of the ones in the video: where: "unni" from "ou" work: "travagghiu" from "travail" buy: "accattari" from "acheter" and many, many more Sicilian and Italian (per video): Most words in Sicilian use "u" sounds for the "o" sounds in Italian, which makes it sound more guttural... that's the biggest difference. I have rarely heard cheese called "tumazzu," as in the video. Most people just call it "furmaggiu." But they didn't include one of the most humorous differences of them all: snail: "lumaca" (in Italian), but "babbaluccia" (in Sicilian) (bubb-a-looch-cha)!

  18. @trinacriabob I was listening to those clips above and others a few weeks back. I was shocked to see that in some parts of Southern Italy, Greek is spoken still and mixed with Italian. I knew that about Sicily, but not on mainland Italy. I was even shocked to learn, this was yesterday, that a classic 1980 Giannis Poulopoulos song was but a cover. An Italian cover. From 1974. And there is a catch, the song was written and sung by a very popular Italian singer, but the song was written and sung...in Greek. Original Mia Martini Una faccia, una razza! http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yDqhw4Vhh-I/Tvr6TfymTmI/AAAAAAAABiw/ia8Zwy4TxDI/s1600/ItaliaGreciaBandiere.jpg

  21. Do not be like OCNBLU If you dont like them, you dont need to be confused as to why others actually DO like them. I did say this later on. But it does NOT change the fact that even if these may NOT be BOTH of our style of cars, we CAN appreciate them for what they are or what they look like. Or you may NOT like the way they look, which is fine, I like them. They are beautiful. Well, maybe NOT the car in this commercial, but you get the idea with the sexy visuals, song choice and the lovely Italian language!

  22. I like Ferraris. Usually. More than Lamborghinis. More than Porsches. These types of cars are not the types of cars Id buy had I had the money (including Corvettes), but they do brighten up the roads when you see one. Any of one of them so-called exotic things. They also do beautify a teenager's bedroom (with posters) of them or pics in a beautiful cars thread. I prefer modern Ferraris over any other modern exotic super or hyper car. Even though I think that modern Ferraris are also overdone. Looks like it could be Aston Martin rather than a Ferrari. But hey...its a start. The start (maybe and hopefully) of beautiful, sexy and elegant lines rather than the awkward ugly-aggressive design language they had going on since the late 1990s.

  24. I quite loved it thank you very much. But in my automotive bipoalr nature, I would prefer a vintage Ford truck to this....still sweet though. Not sure it would have fit the brand image. I miss that era of GM car, a ton of them around when I was a teenager, ton of good memories. Love the green.

  31. Update today- have an order # finally, plus a scheduled build week of 3/29-4/4. It’s supposedly a lock to get built. Current restrains are running boards (mine doesn’t have ‘em), and the molded floor liners- but they’ll built it without those. Dealer manager says probably be here last week of April.

  32. Hope it goes well w/ the new GMC..speaking of ordering trucks, recently talked w/ a friend/former coworker in Phoenix that ordered a new Ram 2500, waited a couple months for the build, then it was demolished immediately on arrival at the dealership. He hadn't even gotten to see it in person yet. Apparently, it was backed off the transport truck which was parked in a turn/middle lane of a busy 6 lane street in front of the dealer then as they are pulling into the dealer, it was broadsided by a dump truck. I can picture what happened, this was the same dealer I bought my Jeep at. Now he's waiting on a replacement...
