someone chop this into a g6... shouldn't be too hard. the high belt line ... it's alot for safety, but i think it's a sad thing to see washing over all new products

The end of the "black-tie era" is near
considering 90% of people don't mess with the stereo, or know how to properly use an EQ, that's why it's been re-dumbed down to a bass and treble.people that want better than ok sound always go after market some how. didn't the recent civics have radio deletes? with all the stuff GM integrates into the stereo, they should go back and be able to make a hideaway unit that takes care of that and a small interface for the dash, leaving enough room for at least a 1-din sized radio. it's the whole specialization / jack of all trades. OEM stuff is getting better, no doubt... but still can't match a moderately priced unit from a name brand. gm should have a special focus group for audio integration, made up of at least a few well known people in the industry/competetions. i remember seeing/reading something about the mach systems ford used and gm answered back with monsoon. like that, but better.

Two new powerful V8s on GM's NG C3XX pickups
well, you can allways tell them DOHC originated in ...what... the 1910's? and if the nailhead and similar can be called OHV , those came out in the 30's, right? so which one is "newer tech"...

Hefty GM hybrids could boost automaker
are they talking about engines getting smaller or motors, cause the motors will hardly get smaller, but placing for it will change. 3 phase AC motors are some of the simplest and best engineered products ever, the best being transformers that can be near 98% efficient.

TiVo
the best thing with MYTH is it can be quite cheap to put together. something like a pentium 3 or better should be able to handle recording shows well. but for HDD ease to record lots, something like a P4 or Athalon xp would allow multitasking. seeking help on it should be very easy.http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-3.html#ss3.1 for hardware needs/recommendations http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php#hw scroll down some for a "how-to" it's no pull it out of a box and you're ready, but you may be happier with it...?

Two new powerful V8s on GM's NG C3XX pickups
that'd be nice. +1 for more power and lower emission tech.this is the stuff i wish would have gone M.E. for in college....anyway. could this 6.2L be loosely based on the ~4.5L diesel coming out for the trucks/H2? (no comments about it not being diesel and a bigger displacement ok) i bet the 5X will be about a 5.5L making ~400hp and similar mileage to what it has now(givin it's not a hybrid) well.. it's exciting anyway.

Have we just gotten used to it?

something on the more truthful side now , but like that one commercial where a toyota was "broken down" and the person kept on driving past..."toyota never break down" , it was a spy themed commercial sorta.

3.1 V6 - Could use a little info
the 03 motor would be the "3.4 part enhanced" motor over pre 2000's. my 99 MC 3.1 has done fine (from 100k to 143k) in the 4+ years we've owned it, (only a few quirks my car has) ask if the motor has had the intake gasket replaced recently, look for any oil residue in the overflow reservoir. how many miles this century have?
