Should the Corvette abandon the V8 for an I6?
i think most every one would call blasphemy if it's used in a corvette... i could agree. your red flame engine.... wouldn't the 6 butterfly valves do wierd things to vacuum? not saying it has to but just thought about it shortly. power wise, those engines would be bad @#$ in the right vehicles

The Future of GM Powertrains
maybe for the next ~3-4 years the 2.0L turbo will be the only DI'ed 4, and hopefully gm does a 4 diesel to compete against honda and others, at least in something like the aveo. for 4 cylinders i'd hope something like the 1.8 or 2.0L could be DI w/o a turbo for base engines and a 2.4 DI for a sportier model for the delta size cars

Road trip! Coming this November....
that looks ugly to me.... but prolly cause it just looks like the saturation levels are way off.

If You Like SOAD...
interesting. likable song. if we talk about the lyrics it would kinda be violating rule 2 quite quickly.

Boston Legal
the few parts of it i've seen are good, but i pay much more attention to shows like "the office" and "scrubs".

Mugen Civic Type-RR (240hp)
i'd bet 300 of them would go much faster than the phaeton.

It's friggin' hot out here
forecast says 102 here thursday, that' not including the heat index....humidity ~50%.... i'd guess that'd be close to 110.

New Buick Super Images
i agree.i think it slightly odd that my dad likes the front of lacrosses, meaning, he's mentioned to me how he likes the split headlights, from what it used to mean to have them. more upscale. like jaguars, or at least more memorable in this time of one piece lenses over ~97% of the market.

delayed starting?
gotcha. well i'll just keep in mind then.

Oil changes
the last part... depending on what kind of car it is i bet the gas sitting in the tank would be worse to use in the engine than the oil. hehe.personal habits make me change mine every 4 months, at least, unless i somehow drive a whole lot more in 3 months than i do now, or obviously the oil is bad looking.

C&G Curse Drifts To Kentucky
as i understand it as a new driver, she should not have taken his word for it about having room to back up/ move. she must not have been aware of what was around "her" car, and it'd take a pretty unaware person to not know they hit something like that(not straight on or backing up under 1mph and "heavy braking") anyway... sorry to hear about it happening, hopefully it will be fixed perfectly.
-
delayed starting?
nevermind...must've been a strange occurance, and i thought it's a relay, asked my dad about it, it'd be a solenoid. ...and it must just have been a random thing.
-
The Car of Champions
looks like a horrible car to have the driver side lights go out on a 2 lane road at night.
-
delayed starting?
thinking it has to be a relay.... try to start it... after about 1/2 sec after keeping the key on "start" it kicks in, act's like a dead battery during that 1/2 second, but nothing unusual happens. does this sound likely? 99monte 143k miles would my assumption be right, and any help how find the relay? I think it might be under my hood in the "fuse/relay area" in front of my coolant reservoir.

Toyota Electric Car May Only Have Half the Range of GM's
from the looks of the volt, it would be smaller than the fat looking pius, therefore, hopefully weighing less. toyo's getting that status quo ideology from what i understand, even if keeping it "cheap enough for the masses" is their reasoning.

Test drove the Altima hybrid
it'd be nice if you ever shuffle cars , i doubt many people on here do though, but i would be one of them.

Dog Days - August
first enclave i saw in my hometown, the red color, looked nice.... forgot, saw a ...thinking a ford GT last sunday, had a mean exhaust note and flew by pretty quickly.

Test drove the Altima hybrid
i can only see them for things like the T-900s, or a city vehicle (one extreme or the other), but something like a smart car ,size and power wise might be better than a hybrid in the city.
