  1. i get 19 pretty easily in my 3.1 MC, thats about 66% mostly flat roads around here, in the city.
  2. whether it's happening or not, reducing 'tricity usage and gas usage is good for your pocket book, and the world. /soapbox ok. so it moves from 1st to second....unless more years have to be altered(lowered) it's only a scratch in the media's armour (haha, European spelling) of the global warming craze. it's just sad, I get this "the world is supposed to be static" idea from global warming/climate change stuff and obviously it can be. A year of every day averages and rainfall/month will never happen (outside of startrek enabled tech).
  3. i got something like that... it's not the dealer doing it, it's banks getting people to come in to push repos on to you. i got a free cruise thing... anyone buy it off me?
  4. i think most every one would call blasphemy if it's used in a corvette... i could agree. your red flame engine.... wouldn't the 6 butterfly valves do wierd things to vacuum? not saying it has to but just thought about it shortly. power wise, those engines would be bad @#$ in the right vehicles
  5. maybe for the next ~3-4 years the 2.0L turbo will be the only DI'ed 4, and hopefully gm does a 4 diesel to compete against honda and others, at least in something like the aveo. for 4 cylinders i'd hope something like the 1.8 or 2.0L could be DI w/o a turbo for base engines and a 2.4 DI for a sportier model for the delta size cars
  6. that looks ugly to me.... but prolly cause it just looks like the saturation levels are way off.
  7. interesting. likable song. if we talk about the lyrics it would kinda be violating rule 2 quite quickly.

  9. it's been running well lately, knock on....e-wood. when it starts doing it again i'll actually try to look at.

the few parts of it i've seen are good, but i pay much more attention to shows like "the office" and "scrubs".
  11. you will be posting pics when you get it, right? haha. welcome. sounds awesome.
  12. i'd bet 300 of them would go much faster than the phaeton.
  13. forecast says 102 here thursday, that' not including the heat index....humidity ~50%.... i'd guess that'd be close to 110.
  14. it got to 99 supposedly on my work's 07 'nox. supposedly going to get to 107 heat index wed. ...we'll see
  15. the eco speedster...? that's what i get from the link... awesome car, but what is it that you wanted to link to?
  16. i agree.i think it slightly odd that my dad likes the front of lacrosses, meaning, he's mentioned to me how he likes the split headlights, from what it used to mean to have them. more upscale. like jaguars, or at least more memorable in this time of one piece lenses over ~97% of the market.
  17. gotcha. well i'll just keep in mind then.
  18. the last part... depending on what kind of car it is i bet the gas sitting in the tank would be worse to use in the engine than the oil. hehe.personal habits make me change mine every 4 months, at least, unless i somehow drive a whole lot more in 3 months than i do now, or obviously the oil is bad looking.
  19. as i understand it as a new driver, she should not have taken his word for it about having room to back up/ move. she must not have been aware of what was around "her" car, and it'd take a pretty unaware person to not know they hit something like that(not straight on or backing up under 1mph and "heavy braking") anyway... sorry to hear about it happening, hopefully it will be fixed perfectly.
  20. nevermind...must've been a strange occurance, and i thought it's a relay, asked my dad about it, it'd be a solenoid. ...and it must just have been a random thing.
  21. looks like a horrible car to have the driver side lights go out on a 2 lane road at night.
  22. thinking it has to be a relay.... try to start it... after about 1/2 sec after keeping the key on "start" it kicks in, act's like a dead battery during that 1/2 second, but nothing unusual happens. does this sound likely? 99monte 143k miles would my assumption be right, and any help how find the relay? I think it might be under my hood in the "fuse/relay area" in front of my coolant reservoir.
  23. from the looks of the volt, it would be smaller than the fat looking pius, therefore, hopefully weighing less. toyo's getting that status quo ideology from what i understand, even if keeping it "cheap enough for the masses" is their reasoning.
  24. it'd be nice if you ever shuffle cars , i doubt many people on here do though, but i would be one of them.
