  1. Good thinking but just wait and see, Woman have the right to change their mind and boy mine sure does often. Though lately with the focus on her education she has not done that much lately.
  2. Very cool to hear about the Encore, way to go guys! Make Mothers Day extra special and get it for her!
  3. We'll someone in Marketing got this wrong if the Hatchback made up 50% of sales and the US is #1 market focus. Course I suspect allot of this was Toyota over bearing approach to development blandness.
  4. There are some documented cases here on the charger forums of people having problems with the electronic portion of their keys not working, and it turned out to be a loose battery connection on the PC board of the transponder. There is an easy fix for this, It involves removing the battery, re-soldering the loose connection, and re-installing the battery. I have also read that this could be caused by a faulty fuse and they recommend pulling the fuse and replacing it for the push button start system. Weird part is that in reviewing the charger forum, many people talk about TSB's for this issue that fix's it and no one seems to post what it is. Bummer I just found where someone posted the following about their 2011 charger, "10575 intermittent/short range of fobik 08804401 replaced and reprogrammed both fobiks" Seems 2011 had a ton of problems and Dodge was replacing them before changing to a new supplier. You can also order new on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/390348788535 Hope this helps, COOL, just found this posted by Chrysler care on the Charger Forum. NUMBER: 08-024-11 REV. 5. I wish all auto makers would build robust wireless start systems. My daughters 99 Durango that I borrow to go skiing has a viper system I put in it way back when I bought it for her and I paid extra to have the long distance remote start which viper says can start up to a Mile away and it does work awesome. I can be at the top of 7th Heaven ready to make my final run down the 2 mile ski run and by the time I get to the auto it is nice and warmed up.
  6. Hate to say it as the guy on the board who loves Japanese cars...but euro cars have so much more soul than Asian cars, mostly. I personally would not only agree with you but have to throw the Euro and American cars into this bucket. There is very little that has passion built into the car DNA right now. Everyone seems to be going to Jelly bean designs. While there are American distinct models that do have a flare, no one single brand really is cutting a passion DNA other than Cadillac with their car design. Now trucks and SUV's is a different matter, I just hope that some way the industry can hold off the morons in DC that want to socialize everything and make it all bland equal for everyone. That does not work!
  7. But I bet it did not take as long for you to fuel as it took for them to charge.
  8. COOL NEWS, I hope they bring the Adam here to the US. That would rock especially if it is CNG version that they sell in Europe.
  9. Thinking on this, take the 4x4 capabilities of the Hummer and this innovative design and build a GMC special purpose, limited production run on an awesome 4x4 like this. It even had good areodynamics. I would love to own one.
  10. Nice read, I find it interesting that we have come to products like this that people would use compared to just learning how to properly parallel park so that they do not mark up their rims. I know I am OCD about my auto and yet I see people all the time grind against the curb and wonder just how hard is it to use your side mirrow an park properly.
  11. I get the feeling that this car company is on life support to just let the current ceo retire in a few years and then it will go away.

  13. Generation 1 dodge durango sitting next to the current durango at the park n ride lot this morning. Amazing how well the new durango is executed to capture the same size and body style that made the first generation such a home run success.
  14. Sadly Ford continues to take on a Half Ass approach to building auto's in the attitude that customers will continue to buy plastic cheaply built auto's. Their day is coming, Ford like GM and Chrysler should have filed for Bankruptcy and dumped all their old over paid pension garbage to clean up and right size the company and then moved forward with clearing out the executive line and building quality auto's. Instead, the Ford Family continues to hurt FORD rather than help it and this shows in the auto's. IMHO
  15. Personally best to just buy a workstation system that has the dual or quad core CPU's on the motherboard. You can get a heck of a deal from DELL on a Quad Core, Dual CPU workstation.
  16. WoW April Fools and I totally forgot about it this year.
  17. Happy B Day Ocn, Hope you get all that you wished for and wanted. Have an Outstanding Day! You deserve it.
  18. Worse yet is that Delphi has testified that they knew the parts did not meet GM spec which they signed on to build to spec and then they still created the part and delivered it to GM. Delphi needs to be pulled in front for their own lack of follow through on the contracts rather than be a pointing finger at GM. YES OLD GM screwed up and those people should pay. Delphi also screwed up and should pay. I agree with Hyperv6 that Mary is showing to be a good leader and leading by example by jumping on the issues to resolve and fix them rather than sweeping them under the carpet.
  19. This popped up after I watched your Tahoe video above. Love this new escalade and the new 6.2 L V8. They address that this engine has a new DI design that eliminates the ticking noise people hear on Direct Injection engines. Should be very cool to drive.
  20. Thanks for posting. A year ago I had suggested to the GMC that they do a black edition Yukon. Metallic black paint job with Black Chrome rims and black chrome accents. While nice, there is still something missing from this Tahoe that says shortcut to me. Sad.
  21. Caddycruiser your comment I find interesting as has others about the Impala and Malibu. It makes me wonder if Chevy would not be better served by killing off one or both of these auto's and building one much better quality car to serve the mid size market.
  22. Very true, unless they are heavily profitable which Mitsu is not they will have to cut out the flare of a low volume fun model like the Evolution and go after mass market models. It is understandable.
