    The story says they wanted to drive real world but they did not. Driving 5 under the posted limit, coasting on down hills streaming behind large trucks, etc. these are not real world driving habits and for most of us, time is money. I am not going to spend hours getting some place just to save a few bucks.

    I do not see any future companies getting into the auto business unless it is with a hover car or some other flying futuristic auto that would force the established ones to finally move forward to a different product model.

    Limited market and I think pretty much the Over Blown Harley crowd has their trucks. I really do not see a purpose for this truck any longer not to mention the gross orange with black just was not a great combo.

    Agree, the attention to detail is pretty amazing. Interesting that he used the Supercharged Cobalt engine. I wonder if this started as a Cobalt SS.

    WOW, The pages of pictures is very cool to see and the story. I love the Chevy truck that only has 1.3 miles on the odometer. Less than 2 miles and the truck just sat there. I also love the 25th anniversary Corvette that is still wrapped up like new.

    I totally agree that this rule should NOT be a rule. At least it was pushed back but still this is going to move more and more people from having their own freedom machine to mass transit which is being cut due to the lack of tax dollars and the excessive social programs. States are going bankrupt and they do not see that they are to blame for this total attitude of we have to protect everyone from themselves. This needs to be killed along with all of the other electronic nanny devices. It is not the Governments responsibility to dictate what is and is not sold in a free market economy. Just as I believe it is NOT the states right to tell you, you have to wear a seat belt. Common sense tells me it is safer, but then where are the seat belts on the public buses and school buses.

    I personally like an interior that is shiny and slick, but I have mixed feelings on the Headlights, but I do like the Monochromatic look of the black All Terrain. That truck Rocks.

    Very Cool, While the blind spots are terrible, the over all quality is amazing for a custom home job and very impressive. Wish they had pictures of the engine bay. Here is a Jelly Bean car with style in my humble opinion. If I could fit in it, I would drive it.

    I think the MiniVan is a dying product. Toyota, Honda and Hyundia might keep them alive in one form or another, but the CUV has replaced the MiniVan pretty much and I do not see it surviving here in the US unlike how the station wagon survives in Europe. Would make an interesting case study as to why the over all space and versitility has lost out to less room and lower gas mileage of the CUV?

    Interesting all the terms that are getting twisted around. When was an Electric car ever supercharged?

    As long as it is under warranty all is good, but the moment the warranty runs out, plan on thousands of dollars in cost each year to replace all the crazy electrical mess or the blown engine. I do not see any long term life out of this mess, but just a short term excitement by those rich enough to afford this bleeding edge experiment. Take a Z1 over this mess any day.

    I want to see real certified proof as these engines cannot really deliver that MPG in real world driving. http://gallonstoliters.com/index.php?q=1&from=imp&to=us&result=0.83267384 one Canadian gallon is equivalent to 1.20095042 US gallons so it will be twenty percent higher numbers in MPG So just proving that these are not real world figures and that it does take far more gas to get these miles. Like Cubical, these figures are lies and 50% higher than real world numbers of what people are posting.

    Excited by this car, but wish Diesel prices were not so punishing. I hope this car sells well for Chevy and they finally move forward with small displacement diesels in their Full size Trucks and Especially their SUV's. Course if they would just build a CNG SUV for the mass, I would be very happy with that.

    Amazing the prices I got in an email from the local dealership today. Guess it gives great advertising but wish they would just drop the big discounts and sell it on how good the product is as a real life reasonable price.

    I think you would have to go with the Communist Cherry Corporation that just clones everything brought to china from Europe or the US and puts a cherry badge on it. That's actually 'Chery' w/ one 'r'. I wasn't thinking of China, though, they've had dozens of companies started there in recent decades, like the US was around 1910. Nothing of significance outside of China yet. I was thinking of US companies...can't think of anything... if Tesla makes it, it will be quite an achievement. Agree with you on Tesla, it will be a big achievement if they make it. I wonder how long before someone consumes them?
