  1. HyperV6, I agree that the Ninny warnings are a pain in the butt and most people if they cannot adjust them to be less intrusive, they will end up turning them off. I hate all this crap about we have to protect you from you.
  2. WOW, this engine with a 9 speed should be very exciting or gas milage.
  3. Interesting, while Buick might be huge in China, I think Pontiac would have been the EXCITEMENT brand that they could have focused on the College to early 30's crowd and still also could have had a stepping stone mid luxury product to go from Chevy to Cadillac via Pontiac. Will be interesting to see how GM handles this, they could have also killed Buick and just gone with Chevy, GMC and Cadillac and had performance with mid level luxury under the GMC label.
  4. Need Avatar, so could use something new.

  6. Congrats Roger, Way to go man.
  7. Sweet update on the Ute, this bad boy is a Star for GM/GMC
  8. I wonder if this is an East Coast AirBrake Job due to all the Rock Salt they put on the roads?
  9. All I said was - That would be pretty cool, especially if the Ute and Wagon were offered too - I didn't say GM would be out of their mind if they didn't offer the wagon or ute, nor did I say GM sucks for not bringing over the wagon and ute too. I was having a moment of hope, especially for the ute (though I would dump the Envoy for a wagon in a heartbeat! ). I know and don't expect the wagon or ute to arrive on our shores any time in the near future How about if they do start selling the caprice, then pick up an Older station wagon you like the body of, cut off the body from behind the driver door back and graft it onto a modern suspension / drive train and nose and end up with your own custom one off modern wagon.
  10. Bummer for those that lost money on what never was meant to happen. The truck while was cool on spec, was not at all appealing to the eye.
  11. We'll I will say you guys are doing an awesome job as the site just continues to get better and better.

  13. QUESTION, Raises Hand! So yes I am a computer engineer and no I have not posted pictures to this site or any other site before. So I would like to post my own collections of auto's. Does the garage here host the actual pics, or do we have to use some other picture hosting storage site and link to it? Do we have a 411 guide on the best practice to post your pictures to the garage? Thank you in advanced to who ever answers me.
  14. SWEET, Nice and Speedy this morning
  15. Boy, do you have that all wrong! The G8 actually sold quite well and it was the V6 cars that sat on lots. SMK getting facts and details wrong? Maybe it is part of the whole Aussie thing since it is a world away from us. Remember they are down under and upside down from the US.
  16. LOVE the new engine, that V6 rocks!!! Over all, I like a number of the updates they have done to this, but I still stand by my past posts that this Denali version on every GMC vehicle is OVERKILL and Dilutes the Denali Elite level. They have gone overboard again on excessive chrome. If the really wanted this to be done right, use this awesome engine on a Black Chrome Edition and call it the Typhoon Edition. Better yet would be to have this engine Turbo charged into th upper 300HP range with Black Chrome accents with only Black, Maroon or dark red and white as the option colors and call it the Terrain Typhoon Edition or T.T.E.
  17. Sweet, Another CNG entry would help drive it home. Especially for those that choose to install a Home CNG Fueling Station. Rock on Natural Gas.
  18. Great Input Hyperv6, look forward to hearing more about your new baby and hopefully post some pictures.
  19. Love IT!!! About time they dumped these poser bodies and raced a body that is truly close to the real thing that the public can buy. Me likey this news
  20. Cut car for little people. Pass as I can never fit in this or anything Mini makes. I think their max height is like 6' so us 6'6" are truly out.
  21. Very small segment want a small 2 seater of this kind. Not a mass market machine so it makes sense to only produce a small quantity that is profitable.
  22. I agree if you can get MSRP then go for it, but I always thought this was in competition to the Patriot. But now looking at the Jeep web site, I see just how much different the entry level AWD is compared to the mid level Jeep Patriot. Size tells allot, Jeep is 172 inches long compared to 188 for the chevy.
  23. EXCITEMENT!!!! This will be very cool and I expect us to see some of their newer design language but for a larger global market.
  24. Having driven a 4 banger and v6 awd Equinox when I took my son shopping for his new ride. He loved the added get up and go of the V6 but wanted the fuel efficiency of the 4 which was still decent for pickup. Problem? GM's price increases. The Equinox AWD which he loved and Seattle seems to have plenty of the 4 bangers on lots here seem to all be priced aroun 25K to start which put it outside my son's budget. Only a month or two ago, Chevy's web site had the AWD 4 bangers starting at 22K. While I like going to prepackaged sets to make it easier to shop, having such a large price increase pushed Chevy out of my son's options and he ended up buying a Jeep Patriot Latitude that along with their $1000 rebate an $500 College graduate first time buyers allowed him to get a loaded Patriot Latitude Trail Rated edition with everything except Nav and Sun roof for 21K including tax and license. GM needs to realize tha college kids need and want an awd or 4x4 so they can get up the mountain to play.
