Samsung Confirms Galaxy S10 and other Phones.
I know some have talked about getting new phones and the types seemed to point to Apple or Pixel. I have been very happy with my Samsung phones yet with that some have pointed out that they just do not seem to update the phones and would rather force you to get a new phone. Lucky me that Samsung pushed out the Version 9 or Pi build of android with the new Samsung interface that came out on the Galaxy 10 phones. Some of the cool updated features or new: Adaptive Battery to reduce battery drain Adaptive brightness App Action to predict what your about to do Slices - brings relevant details in your search's such as price and driver eta when you search for Lyft. Intuitive Navigation of the phone buttons and apps Galaxy 10 UI is now pushed out to all Samsung phones globally. Single consistent look and feel. New intuitive camera interface New beauty enhancements for videos added WiFi Calling now standard for all new and older phones back 2 generations or those that can accept the Pi system. Optional updates allowed via WiFi, Server-Initiated, User- Initiated and Roaming. New re-installation option with error detection for roll back and attempted install at a later date. Very happy with all the changes and have to agree that Samsung did their homework on this update. Really pleased as is the wife and the co-workers I have talked with so far that also have Samsung phones.

Infiniti Qs Inspiration Leaks Out Ahead of Shanghai :Comments
OK, blah to the coupe look, again over done IMHO. Yet, overall clean and nice, has a luxury look to it that Tesla I feel is missing. The front end is especially nice compared to the blah blunt nose of a Tesla.

Peugeot Interested in Jaguar-Land Rover; Tata says "Not Interested"
Got it, that actually would give the Ford Family a bigger selling stage that would diversify and grow the collective wealth for both big families involved.

Mercedes-AMG Unveils the CLA 35: Comments
The problem all of these DOHC engines is you still have to rev them to make torque, if you have to rev at 3000 rpm to get the 280 lb-ft of torque to get moving compared to a NA engine where it makes that torque at 1500 rpm, there is a performance difference off the line. I remember @dwightlooi covered this in detail with a delightful debate a while back about the high RPM torque engines versus NA low RPM Torque engines even if it only had 200 or 225 lb-ft compared to 300 lb-ft of torque how the off the line and performance feel is different. Turbo Lag, High revving engines to get moving compared to a low revving engine that moves is night and day different. Marketing has made these High Horsepower, lower torque, high revving DOHC engines seem like stars, yet they are heavier and especially with turbo equipment even more heavier for what you can get out of a push-rod V8 or even the NA 3800 V6 that moved plenty of steel. I get the engineering marvel the DOHC engines give, but some times the simpler engine is still far superior and better. Just look at all that has been achieved with the small block V8.

Industry News: Trump Threatens Mexico with Auto Tariffs
Social supported business versus capitalism for profit business. The challenge is in the details and the need to cut corners to compete. This is pretty much the Boeing versus Airbus battle. Me, I like the boeing plans over airbus after all the international travel I have done. Back on subject of the trade tariffs, Mexico could really hurt the US but just finding other suppliers for their natural gas needs and so many other things. I really question the wisdom in how DC leadership is approaching trade with other countries. From labor needs from entry level to highly skilled and the need to create and sell products, right now, I do not see smart business friendly consistent leadership. This blows!

Tesla Cuts Jobs Again
Not so sure Tesla is going about this in the best way. They need boots on the ground to stimulate excitement and that Apple product release type carnival atmosphere to drive their sales right now. Apple lost its mojo I believe and Tesla could lose it too if they do not watch it.

They have a consistent dash look across their product line. They have come a long way since the last time they were here in the US. Not a fan of the dash layout as it looks chaotic to me, but would want to test drive it and see how they drive now and the layout as the 2nd screen to the right of the driver does look to be very driver centric in reach and access. If so might be harder for the front passenger to access. Interesting ? @Forza Royal Thank you for posting the pictures and videos.

But, but, but it is not about how many but about the clarity, 1080HD was the rage, now 4K and they just released the new 8K TV's. Ya gotta have the latest, after all the new Avatar movies are in production, first one out this coming December and they all are being filmed in 8K. So they will dumb it down for 4K viewing and 1080 viewing, but 8K is better than 4K which is better than 1080HD. Ya know the Jones / Jones race of stupidity! After all we have to see every hair follicle and they say Porn is the ultimate real life like on those TVs. Course would not know since I am in poor-ville with a lowly 1080 DLP TV, not even a LCD or flat panel.
