  1. Yeah since the '80's
  2. Ugly from what I can tell, I knew it would be FWD still, bt the shape is too Toyota like = me no likey....so much for Buick's styling rebirth.
  3. It's a Cutlass....the others are just....well....not worthy of being saved
  4. That's not KITT
  5. Leave it to a Ford to blow up on the first go
  6. Atrocious.
  7. I cant wait to see the G8 in person...as far as Onstar, meh waste of money...and HUD? lol....cmon if you cant take your eyes off the road for a second to read your gauges, you shouldnt be driving in the first place.
  8. Since when did Mitsubishi make GTR's? that front end is right out of a Mitsubishi design studio....hence why it's rather disgusting to look at.
  9. An enthusiast? Someone like me, who has been obsessed with cars since as far back as I can remember. My parents both recount tales of driving me around as a toddler and being able to name almost any car on the road (before I knew how to read) dont ask me how, I couldnt tell you how I did it. An enthusiast is someone who learns how to drive at 5 years old because he wont stop begging his dad to let him until his father finally caves in....thus learning how to drive in a 1985 Pontiac Sunbird and 1985 Mustang...lol. And enthusiast is someone who waits at the mailbox every month for his new Motor Trend, VW Trends, Car and Driver and Hot Rod (as a child). An enthusiast is someone who has written off NASCAR as a result of it being a lie. Non stock cars competing does not interest me. Seeing real Monte Carlo, a real Charger etc doing the Daytona 500, like they would have in the old days? now thats fun to watch. An enthusiast is someone who cuts school to work on his first car, but wont cut his autobody class in the mornings. An enthusiast is someone who will drive over an hour once or twice a week to wash his car at a particular self service wash he likes. An enthusiast is someone who cant go more than a couple hours without thinking about a car or a car brand. An enthusiast is someone that goes online and joins a site like C&G and sticks around, because at the end of the day....he's an enthusiast :AH-HA_wink: Edit: I could go on and on about myself and what makes me an enthusiast, but I think we all have our own "little" things that make us one, it's not something that can be classified with a simple answer ( as others have stated)
  10. I'm at a loss here 68....truly, this is a horrible story, and I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother. As far as your nightmares are concerned, thoughts such as the ones you are describing are obviously due to the rage you feel towards thats 14 year old piece of $h!. If you continue to let it fester inside you and eat away at your sanity, little by little...it's going to ruin your life. Nothing can take away the pain you feel and the anger inside, you have to put the past to rest (in time) and learn to channel your anger and rage and make it a positive. Enjoy spending time with your family, take the time to do that 'walk in the park' with your wife...all the things you might normally put off for one more day. I've allowed my anger and rage to ruin my life, my family has turned their backs on me, and my fiance left me. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, just try to find peace within yourself, because otherwise these next 15 years are going to go from bad to worst. I hope I'm making sense.

  14. Thank you everyone for the added birthday wishes....it is much appreciated
  15. Way to go Cadillac, and especially GM for finally getting it 'right'. Reading the praise for this car coming from the editors of Motor Trend was something I never thought I'd see again. I was a subscriber to Motor Trend throught the '90's back when C Van Tune was there, and I thought they had a good balance between their bias for certain brands and those which were doing their best to compete. But within the last 7 or 8 years I've stopped reading Motor Trend entirely. This COY write up reminds me of days of old. I remember the 1998 COY for the 'vette, and how proud I was at the time. I also remember the 1999 Chrysler 300M winning the following year. It's seems like it's been a lifetime since American cars have ruled the world, and it's a damned good feeling to have it be a GM that takes the reigns again.
  16. It's not black, unless my color settings are way off?
  17. The King has gotten rid of my Butterfinger Cream Pie....I have since disowned him and havent spoken to his speaker box since
  18. ANyone who says Gran Turismo is a crappy series, obviously needs to have their long term memory checked....what GT did for the original Playstation as far as drving games goes, and what that evlolved into once PS2 comes around has yet to be matched IMO on a "wow" factor since. Granted graphics and physics have improved with each gaming console since the PS1 GT's, but the reality of having a video game 10 years ago that had that many cars, the pure a driving experience, and everything else that GT has offered it's fans will never be matched.
