It says "appearance package" I don't see how it would price as high as the MKX/Nautilus if that's all that's getting changed.

I'd just wear out the winter rubber and buy a new set when they're worn out. He'd be buying them for a daily wheel not a winter beater wheel but I bet if he say they had any curb rash on them he'd be out. It's hard to imagine that their margin for scraping is that small, 20mm. Considering it isn't all going towards the inside.

It looks pretty damn awesome but I don't know if it'll be worth whatever premium they're going to be asking for for it.

I think what you meant to say is BULLSH!T and it's been like quite a few seasons at this point. Dez's "catch" I'm pretty sure was like 2012 and Calvin Jonhson's even older in 2010. Yes, this was called an incomplete pass. It was a game winner with time expiring on that play too. Or maybe the clock was just under a minute.. Either way it should have won them the game.

I didn't even notice those were curbed. I wouldn't buy curbed wheels either, no way. Aren't the OE wheels 235's and those Audi wheels were 255's? That alone shouldn't cause a rub. I think I calculated it out on a website utilizing offset and comparing to the OE wheels and they would stick out 11mm further and like 2mm further in. I think that would fit about perfect. Those CC wheels are PRETTY!

It's crazy how such a small change can make a car look basic and sh!tty versus clean and very nice. My buddy was going to buy a R Line but came across the SE, like yours, and couldn't pass up the equipment upgrade for very little extra cash. There are still plenty of 17" wheels out there that look good but they're on smaller vehicles so they're proportioned "pretty good" still. My friend is contemplating buying these that he found on the ole craigslist(if you don't buy them first!) 19" Audi S4 Wheels

Oh yeah definitely a no-brainer. It's amazing how much better the car looks with the 18's than 17's. Spend the $400 extra to get way more than $400 with of upgades, imo. Then again that can be said about most cars...

Sorry, what you said, "What does it really tell you about the auto? NOTHING!" I thought you actually meant those words. If its just brand/name equity you speak of, then again, the C, E, and S Classes have been around longer than anything Cadillac has branded. They still know the C, E, and S Class as they've built equity in sticking with a system. They've jumbled the other numbers/letters around to make it confusing but a the core of it they've still C, E, and S. I also tried to squeeze one of these into my Dream Garage that @Frisky Dingo made but couldn't swing it with its price.

Mercedez Benz News 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Breaks Cover

I love me more hatchbacks! Too bad we will get the sh!t sedan. In all fairness that 165hp converts to about 200 American horsepower and the 221 to about 250. -
V6 otherwise perfection because that’s a pretty car. #FordGTProblems

Dream Garage- New Average Transaction Price Edition

My little toy car would be a 2018 Mustang GT(couldn't find a way to budget a GT350...) + Performance package = $39,990 ATS w/ Permium Luxury package(needed the LED fog lights and running lights) = $43,890. Edge Sport + 401A + dark wheels = $44,505 Tacoma TRD Off-Road, Access cab, 6ft bed + Technology Package = $35,950 This doesn't leave me with much at all..$18,160 to be exact. Renegade Sport with a manual trans sneaks under 18k MSRP! I couldn't get 4WD though.. But it would be fun to drive the snot out of it. It actually might be worth shaving 2k somewhere else to get 4WD for this little thing because it's probably a hoot for a little guy. -

This is so damn difficult. I don't know what I want to daily or how much to spend because I'd have to get cheap stuff too that I don't think I'd want at all. -
I don't think Mercedes is hurting because of their naming system. You might not like it but they're extremely successful and not hurting. But what IS a Prius or an Escalade? You said the alphanumeric jibberish doesn't describe anything about what the vehicle is but what the hell do some of these names mean? I don't think this describes what the Escalade is at all.

The only reason it isn't as expansive is they don't have a lineup to fill with alphanumeric lingo. I wonder if they're keeping a close eye on what Lincoln is doing with their name changes seeing if it drives talk up more about the brand or not. Vehicles naming, while us enthusiasts pay attention to it, will never discourage a buyer from a vehicle. Most will just go to a lot and say "I want that one" on a luxury brand's lot. So while they might be a jumbled mess, I don't think that will actually stop or discourage anybody from buying them.

Oh neato. I like I like. 5 Fusion Sports. Definitely joking but this'll be fun. -
Congrats! A buddy of mine just bought a Passat SE with the lighting package as well. His is black instead of silver though but it's a really nice car. He got his as a dealer used vehicle with 7800 miles for like $17,500, I think. I've had close friends with both scenarios. TDI Jetta was a tank but MK6 GTI is much less so.

I couldn't agree more. I think I said that a year ago when sales were sky high across the board and niche vehicles like the 435i Gran Coupe or some sh!t was introduced and I just can't imagine there being enough sales to sustain such vehicles. Along with the coupe versions of the same CUV (X3/X4).

I sat in one at the auto show and it wasn't great but at least it had a center arm rest, unlike some of the other baby CUVs. I couldn't live without one of those.

What vehicle's name does tell you anything about the auto? Bolt and Volt, Land Rover as a brand but not their individual models.. Maybe add Wrangler and Tacoma..That's about it. CT6 really lets you know what the vehicle is and so does Camaro, right? Let me guess, F150 and Camry just scream a description of the vehicle? + Cadillac
