    You can google any issue with any car and have a full page of results. All of those leases get returned eventually and..you guessed it..sell.

    Coming from the tallest person here(dfelt) who always complains about headroom.. you'd think that'd be a factor.. . I've driven an ATS and there's no way somebody 6'6" could fit in the rear. My head at 5'8" was only an inch or two from the ceiling(which had a cutout).

    Yeah, weird they'd go with more lag but as technology increases maybe its the same lag but better output.

    Cool, the ATS is a bargain in the luxury world. Good for it. So it does the one thing I said better, handles. That's it. Not a big accomplishment when there are so many other aspects of a car. They did mention different turbos which I thought was a little odd. " Mercedes-AMG’s engineers have installed bigger turbochargers to increase output by 23 horsepower to 385 hp at 6,100 rpm ..."

    The floating screen is only four years old, as of 2018. That's half a car's generation. Nothing about that amount of time or looks is dated to anybody other than somebody reaching at something to dislike about the vehicle. Mercedes pretty much leads every class they are in in interior quality, materials, and design(obviously subjective). Every shape of vent has already been used. I don't know what shape you want them do have. I guarantee I could find some 80's vehicle that has vertical vents like the ATS and complain about that if I wanted to and say "it's old" but that's just ridiculous. I like the ATS interior design but I know it is not better in pretty much any way. Buttons? Nah... let's to the haptic touch BS that nobody really likes.. try and tell me that's BETTER. I don't think there is a single thing the ATS does better than a 2018 C Class. Okay, it probably takes an aggressive corner better..

    Because most would prefer a GMC over a Buick. That's literally the only real reason. That'd be the only reason I'd buy a Terrain over an Envision. The more I see the new Terrains out in the wild the less i like them. When they were first introduced i thought they looked pretty sharp but the more I see them the less i like them. There's just something about them that I do not like.

    Ohhhh I thought you meant the Terrain. Okay, so it does have the 1.5T standard. That makes more sense.

    Because if it's priced that high it's in that territory. Hence my question, is the interior to the level of those at that price range? Yeah, no thank you! Why is that an option at that price? The base engine should be whatever turbo 4cyl the Cruze has and the 2.0T as an option.

    46k for a compact CUV is entry luxury territory.. Are the interiors on the level of Lexus, Lincoln, Acura, or even BMW, Mercedes, or Audi? I mean a GLC starts at $40,050, X3 starts at $42,650, Q5: $41,500. Even the larger MKX/Nautilus starts at $39,035. At least that Rav4 wasn't priced next to those guys

    It still amazes me each month with stellar sales as a Japanese truck that largely does truck stuff a little worse than the Colorado/Canyon. I would have expected way more to have jumped ship than have.

    Wow, GLC did ALL of the weight lifting here. Good overall month but if you actually look at it.. A lot of things are down and the GLC saved the day. Still a very good month overall if they broke their own record.

    You can get M1 or Pennzoil in either 5w-40 or 0w-40(what Mercedes at least used to use) for $25-27 at Walmart per5qt jug. When I had my C350 and it took 8.5qts and the same situation as yours I was absolutely not spending over $100 to change my own oil. $25 X 2 = $50 + $20 filter(which is on the highest end of the spectrum but I'll go with it here) =$70 tops. Any auto place I've ever bought anything from, and Walmart, take used oil for free.

    I'm so impressed with the love for the Tacoma. It nearly doubles the GM twins and in a lot of ways it isn't even the better "truck". It goes to show you how people buy on emotion rather than facts.

    I did a little searching and talking to people on bobistheoilguy.com and Fram has a shop version of that same filter but it has a different label and doesn't have the grippy stuff. I bought a case of 6 on eBay for $33 with free shipping a handful of months ago bringing the per unit cost down to $5.50 for the same $9 Fram Ultra filter. I knew I'd eventually use them so I didn't mind buying a case of 6. They don't go bad. For your TBSS it's a FPS3506. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fram-Pro-Synthetic-FPS6607-Oil-Filter-CASE-6-SIX-fits-XG6607-M1-108-10-2876/173039477548?epid=193030830&hash=item2849f4e32c:g:MtcAAOSwT6pVvns9&vxp=mtr That one isn't as cheap but there are a bunch of different listings for the FPS3506. Even at that link it brings them down to $7/filter. Not an incredible savings but it's better than nothing.

    Oh yeah, I kept my prices realistic for the one where I was buying the cars LOL. That's why it was littered with early 2000's cars!

    That was actually the first car that came to mind for me. Then I did a little Googling and thought there was no way I'd have that in a garage with all of these other new cars out right now.
