  1. Compact hatchback you say? currently Volvo makes extremely pretty cars + hatchback + EV... Color me extremely intrigued.
  2. UH OHHHH @ocnblu!! Hybrid and EV sales are on a rise!
  3. Do you know how many dealerships the German brands have for comparison?
  4. Welcome from the St. Louis area!
  5. I have no clue the numbers but what do the other luxury brands have for dealerships?
  6. That Camaro is just bad-ass. Isn't attractive, but its performance speaks for itself.
  7. How is that a problem for Acura? Acura has an ILX that is CLA sized. I'm not sure what you're saying here...
  8. This could and I think will be game changing for them. This is what all of Lincoln and Cadillac need to do(obviously there are some already but the rest need to be stand alone as well).
  9. The bottom feeder Mercedes isn't starting at 50k like the CLA45 is. That's well into C Class territory and only 2 grand from E Class territory. I don't think that's an accurate way to word the CLA45 as a bottom feeder at 50k. The CLA250 is THE bottom feeder. CLA may dominate on a race track but it's tiny and cramped so it's give and take on what the buyer wants.
  10. The T-Tops in my budd's '97 Z/28 had a spot in the back to store them. I assume the Vette was the same. Targa top is another story and that's a good point that you can't just walk out to your car in parking lot on a nice day and decide to take the targa top out. They just look sooooo much better than a convertible when "not in use".
  11. I, too, love t-tops! T-tops and targa tops are way cooler to me than a convertible.
  12. There aren't hybrid CUVs that get 46mpg(or even 38 by the ratings and AWD) on the highway. I think they both have their place in the market and hybrids are superior in town and in stop and go traffic but if your commute is 35 miles of interstate the diesel will outperform it. Niro is the closest and if I'm not wrong it is considerably smaller than an Equinox or Rav4, the latter which is available with a hybrid rated at 34city/30highway.
  13. The Equinox diesel is rated at 29/39mpg 2WD(28/38AWD). The trucks will hit real world 30mpg. How is that not beneficial? That's realistically 5mpg better for both of those. Factor in the "Real MPG" test MT does and the Equinox got FORTY SIX MILES PER GALLON on the highway. "33.1/46.7 mpg" RIP fuel bill.
  14. As more and more diesels are brought to the US... GM has the Cruze, Equinox, Colorado/Canyon, Silverado and HDs While Ford has the F150, *rumored* Ranger, and SDs, FCA has the Wrangler, JGC, Ram 1500 and HDs.
  15. Yes, I just don't know my GM European brands so I didn't include them. It's safe to assume it is this: http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/vehicles/vauxhall-range/cars/mokka-x/overview.html
  16. Ford has had the EcoSport over there or awhile now. The one to us is the next generation over there. Old one: https://www.ford.co.uk/cars/ecosport?vehicleNavCategory=suv New one: https://www.ford.co.uk/cars/new-ecosport?vehicleNavCategory=suv
  17. And if you want to argue FWD: Fiesta ST. GTI
  18. One would think by now that there is more than one way to measure performance. A vehicle doesn't need 500hp to be a very good performance vehicle. Miata.
  19. Just a guess but I think it has to do with the overall flow of the color scheme. with white seats in the middle as opposed to on an "end" of the vehicle with the dash incorporated in it seems to flow more. Otherwise it would be dark in back, white in middle, and dark up front again. that seems more awkward to me. Other than that, your assessment does make more sense based on wear and where people will be most. Hahaha I completely missed the whole two-door part, too! Wow, screw this vehicle.
  20. When it came out it was priced(with inflation) above today's Colorado's base price.. There's no market for something like that.
  21. What does "SODO" even stand for?
  22. I agree. Older, brick buildings always tend to look classier to me.
  23. Makes sense. It's real small in comparison. I think Cadillac is the only luxury auto maker there. Okay, not true. Lincoln, Acura and Infiniti have been there.
