  1. It surprises me they are getting rid of the Sonic and not the smaller Spark. I was looking at the Sonic RS before I bought my Focus and I just couldn't get over the size of the car. I'm all for smaller vehicles(I drive a Focus!) but it's just too small for me. They'd be perfect for a new driver though. I would definitely look at one if I was buying one for a high school kid.
  2. I'll take one of those 114. That car is beautiful.
  3. Just group everything together, who gives a fck?
  4. I saw that as well. It's so close to being awesome but the cab and bed just look TOO different. It looks like 2 completely different generations(because they are) but there's no effort to blend them.
  5. Hella good month for GM. FCA blew ass if they didn't have Jeep to save them.. But Ram will come back as their new truck rolls out.
  6. They also do some trick things these days with active grill shudders, super low air dams, tiny spoilers(look at the shapes of the tailgates) to get air off of the vehicle more smoothly.
  7. I mean they kind of did.. They made a 2/3 heavy duty with a 5.0 Cummins.
  8. It'd be nice but reduced drag of the current body styles make that a difficult thing to hope for..
  9. I bet there is actually quite a bit of tuning that goes into it because the new 2.0T doesn't have the same exact outputs and outputs at a given rpm. I'm not doubting they will do a fine job, just saying it's a new combo that nobody has driven yet.
  10. It would definitely be a Lincoln or Cadillac followed by the Asian brands. German engineers just to everything so different it is more difficult to do regular/simple stuff on our own.
  11. I'd assume you're correct but those are just guesses at this point as we're talking transmissions now and nobody has driven this XT4 matched to the brand new engine.
  12. With a post-purchase modification. From GM or not. That's like saying the EcoBoost Mustangs are 335hp and 390 lb-ft with the Ford Performance tune for only $699. Depending what you want to believe from Ford... They're still only FWD, right? They already probably have some trick system to get power down but upping that more they're going to have to re-configure that out too.
  13. CLA45? 355hp/332 lb-ft. Everything else you said is probably spot on but there is no simpler engines being made anymore. Everything is more and more complex.. you even mentioned the ability to run on 2cyl..lol
  14. I think it's been a few years at this point too. They just haven't changed anything in a long time. Even their fun/toy cars are pretty "meh".
  15. I like it the most of the 3.
  16. Pretty awesome it will have variable compression. That sounds pretty high tech! I still don't think it looks very good...
  17. I guess, where do the Taco and Canyonado stand in regards to that as well? Ehhhh I guess the taillights do but they just seem way more appropriate on a car or SUV and not a truck where they’re supposed to be durable and I don’t see a light strip like that taking much abuse. The Charger/Durango pull it off perfect, IMO.
  18. This is 5 inches longer than the shortest f150 so it really isn’t that far off of the full size crowd
  19. I'm very impressed with how it looks considering it isn't BOF. When i first saw it, and it didn't have goofy proportions, I assumed it was BOF. That means it would actually drive and handle pretty damn well too.
  20. I'm totally okay with the way the bed and cab are joined. I think it works for a truck. I sure hope that goes away for any form of production vehicle(LED lighting).
  21. I pretty much love everything about it except the ridiculous cross-body LED lighting front and rear. Simplify that and it'd be golden.
  22. Why would they update already if sales are that great? Why not hold off a year or two(or even 3!) and just rake in the cash to put towards other development because they sell so damn well.
  23. They have the Nautilus/Edge as a 2-row, 5 passenger above the MKC and below the Navigator and this will be the Explorer to the Expedition in the Lincoln lineup.
