  1. So you haven't even driven anything on their car line and you're discrediting them based on a few truck tires? Have you used any that weren't OE or all season? Would you discredit all of Chevy because the Cavalier was junk? That Maybach SUV looks atrocious from the back.
  2. The Integrity is sold at Walmart for well under $100/tire...
  3. Yup! I am surprised it isn't the 9spd unit though.
  4. Soft isn't always bad and just getting long life doesn't make it a good tires unless that's all you're really looking for though.
  5. I just want that V Series in the background... No, the 10 was for RWD/AWD not FWD/AWD.
  6. Goodyear isn't sucky, they just make a few sucky tires that they sell at the cheap-o stores like Walmart(Like John Deere selling at Home Depot/Lowes). they still make very high end stuff to compete with Michelin, Bridgestone, and Continental. People just tend to talk about their bad experiences more than their good ones. Also, fwiw, saying a whole brand is good based on a couple models is like saying all of Ford is great because they make the GT. I've heard plenty of complaints about OE Michelins, Cotinentals, Pirelli, and Bridestones as well... Some people just don't like OE tires and will complain no matter what.
  7. I'd buy a TDI Golf. Had a mk7 one been around when I was car shopping, I'd be in one of them instead of my Focus.
  8. I know Continental at least has some factories here. I'd hope Michelin does as well.
  9. When was the last time somebody overtook somebody during the race and not during a pit stop? Probably around year 2005.
  10. It's a great time to be a fan of F1.. ? Yup, steady decline in viewership for the past decade. Forbes link for graph.
  11. Then they aren't the golden standard of racing if they only have their toes in one league of racing when there are hundreds out there. Formula 1 is the biggest money pit and, I could be wrong, I believe their ratings have been declining for the past decade as the sport blows to watch. I love the technology and the sheer speed of those cars but it is the least entertaining form of automobile racing out there. Want to know the finishing order of every race? Just watch the qualifying session. Heck, just watch Q3 and watch laps 1-3 and that's all the entertainment the sport offers. ..so.. like a regular truck that is completely different than the pictured Sprinter? lol
  12. How many different leagues or classes does Mercedes even race in? I love Mercedes but my god are you oblivious. I guess ignorance is bliss though so...?‍♂️
  13. One word: Unimog! Okay Okay Okay it isn't a standard full size truck but hell if it isn't the best in the world at being versatile/flexible and doing truck things.
  14. It's probably something you wouldn't care about in this car but fuel economy could drop a tad spinning a heavier tire with more tire touching the ground. For something like this, I doubt you're looking to eek out the best fuel economy possible anyway.
  15. Correct, it's a ratio of the width.
  16. Too much customization to get the perfect seating position? ? "I wish my seat had LESS adjustablility" - Nobody
  17. I flew American last month and it was a pleasant experience.. Nothing to complain about.
  18. Ohhhhh is that how you narrowed it down to those three tires?? I didn't even notice lol.
  19. I have also heard really good things about the General Altimax RT43. When I was more active on bobistheoilguy.com a ton of people used that and liked it as well. It's one of the few 225/70R15's that isn't a truck tire, too.
  20. Personally, I'd go with the 225/70 for looks more than anything else. But a wider contact patch has never hurt anything, god forbid, there is an emergency evasive maneuver. The 225/70 is also a slightly taller tire overall. Theoretically it will also gear the car a little taller..
  21. The Optimo link still doesn't work and is this for the Honda or Buick?
