  1. It's a track car + close ratio transmission.. you'll use that torque in 1st gear and she'll be screaming the rest of the time. There's no real need for gobs of torque.
  2. Very true but I have this weird feeling it would not be the right price..lol Good quality OE paint job taking trim and everything out so you'd never know is probably like a 15k job. But I guess if I don't have a vehicle payment..might as well! @Frisky Dingo where's your list?!?!
  3. Remember, those are your only vehicles per the rules! But that's a pretty gnarly list! How many of those would be retrofitted with an EV powertrain?
  4. I bet it's most likely a wife with a German luxury vehicle while the husband owns an American truck and I doubt that would change even if Mercedes or Lexus made a truck.
  5. PERFECT! Now for 26k, let's hope the rest of the car isn't trashed too then.. So, @dfelt, what would be on your list?!?
  6. I didn't notice the cracked screen but even if that were $1500 it's still super cheap for that car.
  7. 26k for a V Sport???? That sounds so damn cheap. I want that.
  8. I wish IL would push for that more than they do..which is almost none at all.
  9. How many is "many" that you personally know that are waiting to trade in their vehicle for an EV? Personally, I've only met a few people who want an EV and they're mostly just Tesla fans and one person who owns a Leaf. They absolutely love their Leaf, fwiw.
  10. I don't think 2018 will be a good year for sales as the last year or two was just too high to sustain but I don't think that is the reason.
  11. It's only if they knowlingly sold them something to cheat with that it should come back to them, imo. If they're contracted out a part to do X, Y, and Z and they make it to the specs but the other company does whatever they want with it they shouldn't be held accountable unless they knew it was involved in illegal activity.
  12. Cars aren't but trucks are.
  13. Well, I definitely found something to replace the Durango with... 4Runner TRD Pro. I know I wouldn't be able to get it in this badass blue because that's a 2018 color but it can be had used for under the budget for a 2015 TRD Pro. Because I know damn well my Mustang will be more of a 1/4 mile car than a corner carver I'll take a brutal 2012 GT500 for that. Last but not least... I feel like I need to have one of these in my garage or I'd regret life. 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra.
  14. I'm right there with you on a few of those! I was thinking about the rest of my list this morning and all of them came up but I think I'd sadly pass on the SS if I'm going to have a VSport Caddy, personally. Z06, Boss 302, and SS.
  15. Have anything to prove this? Crazy real-world fuel economy. Those TDIs(which were cheating the system..) were getting 50+mpg pretty easily.
  16. Half tons are maxed out based on width now though, without breaking the 80" width and needing the marker lights like the wider HD/SDs.
  17. Durango R/T Durango R/T CTS V-Sport CTS V-Sport F150 FX4 This is all I have for now.. I'll have to finish on Monday.. Or alter it.. I'm not sure if I want a Durango and an F150..
  18. Oh man, used market.. This opens this up so much! I actually have another one of these for ya after this one.
  19. Yes, but in a car like this I'd assume it's just quite. No real crappy 4 banger noises to worry about.
  20. 255/273... I'd rock that as a daily driver, for sure.
  21. Wouldn't that be their fault for not knowing that people aren't the easiest on the throttle? Shouldn't they know their clientele? The Ford DCT was built for sh!t. lol Mine is okay but it definitely has it's faults. The thing I find the most odd is that when cold it acts just fine. No shuddering or slipping or anything. Its when you'd been driving for a little bit and everything is up to temp that it gets wonky.
  22. I put that more on the engineering/programming side than the consumer. They already know 99% of people just get in and mash pedals around to get from A to B. It should be designed to work in those conditions.
  23. First I'd get my truck out of the way with a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road. They apparently dropped that trim for 2018 but I think it was around 34k(a couple grand more than the TRD Sport trim). The ole family-sized hauler would be an Edge SEL AWD. I wanted a Grand Cherokee but I didn't want a base model to get AWD. Now for some funner things. 2018 Mustang GT (manual trans) Miata RF Grand Touring (manual trans) Here's a car I'm not sure when I'd drive with considering I have the other vehicles to drive but I'd always had a little sweet spot for it. Acura ILX but it needs the A-Spec package so I can get my much needed fog lights. I also love the LED head lights Acura has too. I added pretty much any available package and it ended up at $36,065. The more I think about it, I might drive it more than expected as it's the only one that would really have any luxury to it.
  24. I think that's just an unflattering angle of the Accord. It isn't perfect but it looks much better than that picture makes it look.
