  1. That's a very good way to put it. For some reason this sentence opened it up for me. Agreed but I feel like that's been forced by trying to improve fuel economy numbers. ..Pretty much what Drew said.
  2. I like it. Especially because most of the time I'm on here it's a minimized window in the background and the scroll bar downsizes to the size of my browser so I can still scroll without having to enlarge the browser size. i hate sites like that.
  3. Enjoy it before the storm. It's cold as F now.
  4. Exactly, its still an entire package deal.
  5. I didn't say I didn't see a difference in them. I do, but I don't see value in a roof line that could possible by worth 5 times as much as most other roof lines.
  6. Panthera Metal looks pretty good.
  7. Just hearing about a markup is annoying though. I don't feel like there is a big enough hardcore Kia fanbase willing to pay a premium for them. I hope that doesn't discourage people from buying them down the road. I also wouldn't want that red.. not a pretty shade, imo. I just looked on Autotrader and within 300 miles of me there are ONLY blue ones available..WTF?
  8. IMO, just looking at roof lines nothing looks 5 times more expensive than something else. I mean I guess it could be argued a little box like a Spark vs the elegance of a CLS.. but "for the most part" no roof lines says "I'm worth 5 times as much".
  9. Every single manufacturer markets crap like that. It is still the "affordable Tesla". Seems pretty obvious that those people weren't in line for the 35k one if they were originally planing to buy, at minimum, a 74k Model S. Are most cars bought at the bare bones base model at the least possible price or are there more LS, LT, and Premier Malibus running around? Or are most of them base model, "L" trims? Same with trucks(excluding work trucks for obvious reasons) there are easily more LT and up trim trucks out there than LS. No way were 75% of these buyers planning to spend 35k before tax incetive. I'd bet most planned to spend 35k AFTER tax incentive. I just hope enough sell to have a good used market to choose from.
  10. Yeah between that and not everybody being sold on small turbo engines I think it's nice to keep a n/a v6 in the mix. The 4 bangers just don't get the real world fuel economy that they're "supposed to" get.
  11. I think the 2.0T has been standard since 2015. They don't really need anything between 250hp , 280hp and 315hp. Unless you're thinking of replacing the 3.5L engine with the 2.3L?
  12. None of those other cars only other siblings are 100k cars(or starting in the 70's like the Model S). We also have no clue how many of those pre-orders were based on $27,500. Maybe 1%, maybe 99%. It was marketed as the "affordable Tesla", if I remember correctly.
  13. Exactly... there's nothing wrong with it. It's looks are subjective but the performance of the 3.3T speak for itself. Plus, the inside looks fantastic, if you ask me. I like the ATS but i think if I had 40k to spend on one of them I'd get the Stinger GT. The "base" GT plus AWD is $41,xxx. LED headlights, Brembo brakes, limited slip diff(on the RWD one), etc... I'd take that for 40k. That markup is a joke though. Give it a few months of slow sales and that will become a discount, hahaha.
  14. Ahhhh I should have known the XT5. I did think the Grand Cherokee but I figured that was more along the lines of the Edge. Isn't the Enclave much larger and 3 row? They're priced similarly though.
  15. Hahaha, Which MB did this remind you the most of? Yeah it is VERY quickly becoming a thing across every brand, if it hasn't already. i liked it a lot at first and I bet that was due in large part to me having a love for the original CLS but now that it is a thing on everything they're all making each other look more and more bland. Hatchbacks FTW!
  16. Ohhh I gotcha. From just those three(I'm not sure if there is another competitor in the low end luxury group and I realize the Edge isn't in that group) I'd favor the Nautilus first, MDX then Edge. The empty space in the Edge just looks off. they didn't utilize it well, or at all.
  17. Yeah that coupe styling for a small car will make for a cramped back seat. It looks pretty good but it won't be all that useful.
  18. I think it's a pretty good looking vehicle. Nothing crazy good but I don't think anything is offensive either. You say MB but I think you meant Malibu.
  19. That Edge center stack is...bad. If they just made those buttons larger I think it would look better. There's so much empty space and it isn't utilized very well. The Lincoln one looks much better, imo. It isn't great but it looks like they at least tried. For, 60-70k I think looks "meh" at best. But if you don't click all of the options it starts at $39,035, add a few small things to bring it up to 45k and it is still a respectable interior at that price. I don't really think it looks any worse or better than what's probably its closest rival, the MDX. I actually thought some of the lines were similar, that's what actually caught my eye. That sounds like a really stupid design. I can't imagine they thought that was "correct".
  20. That 2016 Chinese Taurus is basically the Ford version of the Continental, isn't it? I just looked at a picture of it and it's a pretty good looking car. Nothing special, just clean looking.
  21. So over here the Fusion/MKZ, Edge/MKX/Nautilus, and Continental, right?
  22. So buy the Lincoln then. That solves your problem. lol Why is there an 8spd being used in Fords? Isn't this the second vehicle that has an 8spd since the 9spd has been plugged into some Chevys, which they co-developed?
  23. EcoTech is the first one that came to my head as well. ..Leaf.. lol But that's about it with the clever naming.
