Sales: Sales Figure Ticker: February 2018
ykX replied to William Maley's topic in Sales Figure Ticker
Not exactly what you said, you said that you would rather pay extra $9k for Terrain which I call BS with all due respect. Terrain is not much better or in some way even worse than any other loaded CUV on the market and while paying for any other CUV close to $40k is a lot, paying for Terrain close to $50 is ridiculous. -

I am sorry but there is no way in hell Terrain worth close to $50k in any shape or form. -

@Drew Dowdell it really is surprising Volt is not very popular. I think it is perfect for the current infrastructure since it combines best features of both technologies.

So wanted to try one of these for a while. Hope enough of you guys will participate. Choose up to four sports/pony/sporty/performance cars that you would buy with your OWN MONEY. Whatever you can realistically afford NEW or USED, one out of three - four choices you will present. Post picture of them in your favorite color.

Basically what I got from the discussion that everyone who buys a Ferrari is a sucker and they all have to buy a Camaro. Right ...

Hyundai News:2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Becomes Boxier, Adds Diesel

I don't like the new looks personally. -
Watched last night an episode of Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars getting Coffee" on Netflix. He had 1965 Buick Riviera. I am usually not into that kind of cars, but boy this car is simply gorgeous. Pictures simply don't do it justice.

1. C6 Z06 2. Chevy SS 3. Lexus GS350 4. 4Runner Limited or like 2013 -2012 Land Cruiser 5. Either 2013 Boss 302 or newer Mustang GT premium with perf. package

To compare to other CUV's in the segment the price seems to be inline with everything else out there.
-
I take it back, maybe not really more expensive when you compare apples to apples

I think a bit disappointing. First I was disappointed when I saw one at the auto show. It looks better in pictures than in person. Often it is the other way around. At the show it was a loaded model and inside it didn't look anything special. And now it seems that it is priced higher than most of its competitors.

MT: 2018 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS 1LE VS. 2018 FORD MUSTANG GT PERFORMANCE PACK
ykX replied to ykX's topic in The Lounge
@dfelt I have been reading on a new battery technology for a while now but yet to see it in mass production. Eventually, it will happen, the question is when. I was considering getting a used Vette in a few years but after sitting in one at the auto show I am starting to have my doubts. I am not a huge guy, 6'1", 180lbs and it was tight for me, and even lowering the seat all the way down felt like I will be very close to the roof. I don't think there are many more sports cars in Mustang/Camaro price range with compatible performance. -

How they dump weight when batteries are inherently heavy? Look at Tesla, stupid fast in a straight line until it comes to a corner. Model S weights between 4500 and 4900, while CTS for example 3600 to 4000. -
For you or wife? Family or fun?
