  1. i cant see it!! it wont let me use the link... can someone put it on a webhost and then post it? camino... did you find this while lookin for the length of the hood for my trivia thread? haha
  2. LAME!!!!!! haha but anyway back to the main topic... i would love to see the G6 become the Grand Am... not only to bring the name back... but also to bring an end to this G(#) naming scheme... whats next? will the next-gen GTO be known as G10? please pontiac bring this ludicrous behavior to an end!!
  3. it was actually exactly 6 feet long... thats like the size of a twin mattress... haha that would've been an interesting ad campaign "Monte Carlo, can't decide if you want one? with a hood this long, you can sleep on it" hahaha
  4. some kind of formula one or similar style corvette race car prototype maybe?
  5. right but how long was the hood?
  6. a bit harder than my previous question... but most people will probably know this... what car had the longest hood ever fitted on a chevy... how long was that hood and what was the first year that car was sold?
  7. aaahhh now that makes sense... yeah it would probably be a bad idea to not offer an AWD impala if RWD is standard
  8. thats uh... different... not so sure AWD would work for either of these... sure its better than FWD but... monte enthusiasts such as myself have been waiting for a RWD monte for a long time... i hope this is a miscommunication... bcuz there was another topic sumplace that said sumthin about RWD montes and impalas... so im gunna hope for that until i hear official word
  9. being realistic... by the time im ready for a new car ill be a year or two out of college (like 2010-11)... and ill probably be lookin at an 05 goat... if im allowed to dream... id be buying the 69 L71 vette off this guy who runs a gas station near my house...
  10. definitely!! count me in! heres a pic of my car
  11. was it the camaros made with the digital dash in the early or mid 80s? i cant remember the years... maybe 86?
  12. alright i stand corrected... turns out they were indeed standard... oh well
  13. see? option... not standard... but then again... wikipedia isnt always the most reliable source... ill keep lookin for sumthin more credible
  14. it was hidden healights... altho according to balthazar thats not right... ill hafta double check... but im almost positive they were an option
  15. What option on the 68-69 body style Goats was so popular that most people think it was a standard feature?
  16. hmmm... either a cadillac or a buick probably
  17. the ZL1s were most definitely production... just bcuz only 2 were ordered doesnt make them not production...if im correct i believe there were 69 camaros ordered with the ZL1... that number could be wrong... but either way... it was production... it had to be so chevy could use the engine in stock car races and 68... i ddint mention the ZL1 simply bcuz only 2 were made... that thing was sick... if i remember right i think actual output was like... 630-650 gross... never transferred that to net... but if 580 is 464 in net... id imagine the ZL1 was pushin close to 500... man i love C3 vettes... the beatiful flowing lines... ridiculously powerful engines... oh man... it makes me happy just thinking about it
  18. i came across a few of those last night while looking for inspiration for a new sketch... and i must say i love the blatant arrogance that pontiac had...i read a 67 bonneville ad that said something to the effect of "anything you see on this 67 bonneville, you'll be seeing in two years on everything else" i love it!! pontiac should start making enough good product so they can go back to those arrogant ads...
  19. thats ridiculously wrong... a z06 hits 60 in 3.7...
  20. uh guys... yur talkin about underrated engines here and you forgot one...a very very ridiculous corvette motor... the 1969 L88... rated at 430... the L71 was actually rate dhigher at 435... but due to aluminum block and other tweaks... the L88 actually put out close to 580... im not takin anything away from the chevelle... that thing was a monster...but lets pay a little respect to the true underrated king of the road back then shall we? (btw... i did the math a while ago... changed to net hp... the L88 stillhad over 400... it wuz around 464... which wuznt touched until the late 90s viper...)
  21. that ford is most definitely a bronco...late 60s or early 70s... as far as it bein the first suv... wouldnt that go to either jeepor willy's? and by the way... im happy you decided to put yur logos back on...i hate the look of a car with no logos...its almost like you have no pride in what you drive
  22. i havent touched my engine yet... tho i have a few things in mind... i really want to get the horse close to 300... but sumthin i did do that made much more of a difference than i thought... tho it could be bcuz i have the L67... is switched from 89 to 93 octane... the change in sound and throttle response was crazy...much more than i expected...just thought id give some input
  23. charger..."come on feel the noise" is played by quiet riot if yur lookin for good songs and are an ACDC fan... id suggest aerosmith... they have that same 70s rock and roll feel... you might also like Skid Row (if youve never heard of them...imagine Guns N Roses... but harder) and theres always Queen... who doesnt like Queen? honestly
  24. nice haha but i have seen a car more rice than that... imalmost afraid to post it... but i figured you guys should see it... eeewwww haha theres actually a whole webpage with pictures of cars riced out beyond belief like this... rice
