what cars are those in the comercial...? there was what seemed like the next generation XLR and possibly next gen STS or DTS not quite sure... but then to throw things into perceptive they had an old escalade... so you know this video wasnt made recently...

why do the got to be bias... just say worst cars, and lets see the list change... it'll have some asians and germans in there too...

welll generally speaking I'd say the young women crowd drive the worst that would be Jettas, Civics, Ford Focis, and such... i'd say women 16-25 are horrible drivers... they seem to improve after that age...

mostly to GM cars, but if i get a chance to cut off a japanese car i will take it... expecially with my truck they arent going to argue with me... road rage only works with similarly sized vehicles but yea, if i see a GM car coming up on me, i'll switch lanes and let him pass me easily where as if i see a import coming up on me, i might match the speed of the car in the other lane so he cant pass

i donno but all cars made before the 60's sucked ass on climbing hills... i remember as a kid, jump in the old hudson, and make sure we get a good running start... or else we had to back down the hill

well that is coming from us dealerships... that 10k + per vehicle... the GMT900 are demanding extremely high prices without rebates so in the previous year all of these GMT900 were being rebated, GM card, etc... 5,6 even 8k$ rebates... and not only did that entirely go away, but the invoice prices went up by about 1000 or more in some cases, and the retail price went down... forcing the salesforce to work harder to acheive more sales... the Total value program is designed to work on all ends, the customer end, and the dealer end to increase business... also without fleeting the impalas and what not, the vehicles are holding a much higher point of sale price...

also my friends 2003 SL55 is a 5.4 liter i believe, and it puts out 493 hp

but they will always be isolated, as in this report... a one time expense of 4.3 billion but yet the world is happy operating profits are there... so these one time expneses are small investments to a more profitable tomarrow... they are always welcomed by the investors...

dont like it... it just doesnt have that crisp effect to it... it seems like a warmed over STS... but it really ought to be much edgier...

but the northstar doesnt need to get bigger to be more power... in DOHC worlds... displacement != power it just needs to be updated... direct injection, I would say AFM but DOHC doesnt have lifters... there are also major advancements in heads cams fuel delivery exhaust intake, etc. in the last 10 years... the LS7 is a perfect example... the Northstar was designed a little after the LT1 debuted... so we've come so far on the pushrod end, but the DOHC GM hasnt made many improvements in the v8 form... the Ecotec has also been updated... but not the northstar

yea it would be nice to see GM actually stand up for its self...the 200k Mile club is a perfect example... what about fuel ecconomy? Emissions? I think its obvious GM is the largest supplier of jobs to N.A. in the automotive industry... What about style? There are there parts to selling cars, 1) overcome the objection 2) getting the 'Deal' 3) product for too long GM has been focusing on the deal, recently they are focusing on the product, but there still is a problem of perception...

its not a 5.7 L pushrod... its 6.0 the 4.4 is more advanced then just a supercharger...

our product development guy told us the aveo has more interior volume then the 06 camry... but what does that really mean? nothing really...

lets hope Cadillac starts doing what the Z06 has done over the years... GET the V-series that stomps the competition, and the regular one is adiqute, and after 2-4 years, merge the gap, then make the V-series that much better over the new V8 and so on... look at where the Z06 has come from the LS1... I'm not certain on years, but I know the northstar was around during the LS1's first days 1997 The LS1 rated at 325-350 hp 2002 The LS6 bumps to 405 Hp 1997 Deville Northstar is rated at 275 & 300 Hp 2002 Deville Northstar is rated at 300 Hp 2005 the LS2 rated at 400 Hp 2005 STS rated Northstar 320 Hp 2006 the LS7 rated at 505 Hp The LS series has been updated... The LS series i guess has a bigger budget... but... still the Northstar is very antiquated, perhaps its been adiqute all along, but i think its time for it to be updated... put some LS7 technology in it... the 4.4 Northstar is putting out 462-469 hp... I hope this technology soon gets input into the standard 4.6 Northstar

i have a feeling GM is about to become a profit machine... they are spending so much on the future and profiting? i mean the silverado isnt even here... can u imagine if there wasnt 4500$ rebates on GM's best seller? and to top it off, increase sales on the silverado because of new model? what about saturn? we've already got record revenue... lets see saturn blow up... 20% increase in sales... I think we are about to see a very glorous time for GM... with Zeta and lambda around the corner i think GM has a chance to grow massively... also i think there are plenty of band wagoon people who will start to buy GM...

so technically GM profited 1.2 billion this quarter... which is outstanding! This 4.3 billion is very welcome by the public and the company because it reduces future overhead a lot! so it makes profitablity easier... so despite the 3.5 billion loss this quarter this is good news, and it is expected...
