  4. Fly's favorite machine. He totally bored me with his eulogy of this vehicle. Gotta say it has some class to it.
  5. That thing is a gem.

    New Stingray!

    Stings like a ummmm Stingray?

  8. Good transmission and SHAWD and that GAWD aweful grille. Yeah Acura is polarizing and it has polarized me away from the brand.
  9. "What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach... So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it! Well, he gets it! And I don't like it any more than you men." R.I.P.
  10. Add - Despite of the $25 B

  12. I really think Alpha will suit Pontiac more than a Chevy but I understand Chevy will bring home the bread more than Pontiac and that is what GM needs. I remember starting a thread about a car like the E46 3 series at price of Malibu. That would be a perfect fit. No it does not have to compete with the Caddy. As a matter of fact of the B-P-G the least relevant brand to me is the Buick. Keep it in China only just like keep a Pontiac in US only. If Pontiac gets a Delta II why will Buick need a Delta II? Blu, man you still have not learned faarrin languages?
  13. Exceptional Red Chevy Nova modded with a 427.
  14. Bedeuten Sie, dass Saturn sogar schlimmer ist?
  15. I think it will be wise to sit tight and see in November 2010 rather than being armchair critics or fanatics. Many things shall and will change be it good or bad between now and then. At least it is good to know emotions (both positive and negative) are running high on this vehicle.
  16. That is the surprise. It beat the evo, sti, 135i, and the hallowed IS-F to name a few which are NOT FWD. These cars have better power to weight ratio and have 6 piston break calipers and other intimidating features that the Cobalt lacks.
  17. Good vehicle. I think the SAABs are $3-4 K too expensive. Nice ride-up write-up Mr. Doane.
  18. Lightning Lap Surprise of the event - Cobalt SS Turbocharged. See the results and it obliterated many a cars more expensive and more revered- mostly RWD and AWD - than the little pocket rocket. . GM has an amazing piece of FWD (68 listen ) machinery in their hands.
  19. Mr. FD Roosevelt for sure he left some real legacy. I think another ones who deserve mention are Mr Eisenhower (his audacious highways system is what propelled US into being a super power) and Johnson like boi said for his chivalry. I do not know about enough about Mr. Washington, Adams and others. For his terseness and witty single liners I like Truman the best no one could smack other on head like he did.

Those Vettes are gunners when it comes to fuel efficiency. When I had a 2002 Z06 for about 6 months in 2005-06, I used to get like 31 mpg highway. I remember once while returning from WV I was filling gas in GA and there was a MILF standing on the otherside of the pump by her "beloved" LX doing the same. The gas was like 2.90 +/- for regular. She pointed to the vette and asked me with a smirk how much does the "Gas Hog" give on the highway, with no expressions on my face I said I just got 30 miles to the gallon. She said you mean "three zero" I said yes. She turned around dumfounded, and then I asked her how much does her gas hog give on the highway, she said 16 mpg if she was lucky. I wished I had the smiley.
  21. I am not kidding at least the 2005 TSX does it, the dealer showed it to me.
  22. How the big ones fall hard. Lehman one of the pinnacles of investment banking and dream for many young banker grads may probably cease existence after tonite. This may very well be a wake up call for the big riches to get some sense and stop playing with money of others. I feel sorry for the "foot soldier" employees who will lose their income. Never blame the soldier who fights on the battlefield because he is just taking orders from the chieftains. My dad who is back in India and has no knowledge of what is happening day to day in US gave a good historical evidence. He said that in 19th century before a presidential election (he does not recollect who was elected) there was a similar crash in September/ October and that the market picked up after the election. Granted the rules of the game and other things have changed and today's intensity is probably many a fold than 100 years ago. Is there a striking coincidence?
