  1. GMC Terrain (Or whatever the GMC Theta will be called)
  2. I'd kill for that kind of freedom... I can't wait for the Buick to be done. Thanks to you and Sly I'm now on the quest to buy a B-59... Some day.
  3. I know your motivation Don't come on here and single me out just because I make you insecure. And like I said, I'll leave it at that.
  4. I'm liking what I hear so far!!! So, apparently "Cyanide" was the song featured in the original trailer given the riff and "Suicide..." lyrics.
  5. So you're going to tell me to omit my opinion because you don't like it and are the almighty admin of the Buick forum? Okay... I'll leave it at that.
  6. UPDATES: Album release date: September 12th 2008 MetallicA has completed shooting the video for the first single entitled "The Day That Never Comes" and the video should begin airing around the end of this month. MISSION METALLICA: July 29: July 29: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNJ2BUCrBfE...feature=related July 30: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLysJvaxQQQ...feature=related July 30: (Cool discussion about the name Death Magnetic) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6sf4nk4G_s...feature=related August 1: (This one is bad ass, if it's legit... Seems to be... Has a very SLAYER feel to it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm9BYZsKdPc August 1: (Pretty cool) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqs94eLPLD0...feature=related August 1: (Yet another one) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DK6tmMkWf0...feature=related August 2: (Excellent background riff) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzZJb_MukUs...feature=related August 3: (Pretty obviously talking about "The Unforgiven III" and the same ideology as was used to structure "The Unforgiven") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hncWX7x_cp0...feature=related August 4: (Also labeled as July 5, so who knows?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSLNBfM5sD4...feature=related August 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-n0YASOuMM...feature=related August 5: (Awesome! 7. Pictures, defunct brands, info... You name it. Any good sites? (I'm planning my dream car list, since the industry is going down the tubes)
  8. GME is in charge of Epsilon and now, according to PCS, MOST of GMNA. (I know, I know But whatever)
  9. Fair enough... But as with the G6 of yore, the details that were LOST from concept to production are what made the car appealing in the first place. The devil is in the details... Especially on a design that is this generic to begin with (The Invicta was a nice concept, but even it was a bit generic).
  10. Sure, the picture is grainy. But if anyone here thinks this car is even remotely up to Enclave standards, then I'd like some of what they're smoking. Even if the picture sucks, the disparity is already too big.
  11. But it's okay man... Because it's a (cue angel choir) BMW!
  12. True that.... It's the only way they will be taken seriously at this level. GM needs to understand that it must LEAP FROG the competition.
  13. My reccomendations: 1) Shelby GT500 Mustang 2) Chevrolet Corvette 3) Mustang GT Convertible 4) Dodge Challenger SRT 8 5) Cadillac CTS 6) Pontiac Solstice GXP Convertible I got nothing on the Camaro survey too.
  14. Off topic, but: Aston is owned by american investors now, right?
  15. Agreed 100% I think the media is a huge problem for GM. However, GM continues to make itself vulnerable to pretty much every attack they've endured. I was just telling my GF yesterday that I'm so very sick of fighting the fight for GM because of their 1 step forward 2 steps back shuffle... I mean, I'm all for flying the flag high when the company deserves it, and maybe even when they don't but I think circumstance dictates their predicament. But, when you're wasting development dollars on platforms, engines, models and plans that you're just going to dynamite 1 year later. And delaying cars that should've been here 3 years ago or engines that are needed now, I'm having a more difficult time being a GM fan everyday.
  16. Half of the time I'm here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte http://www.noda.org/ And the other half, I'm MUCH happier here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swannanoa%2C_North_Carolina http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Mountai..._North_Carolina
  17. The more things change... The more... At least the old Century had a unique wheel design.
  18. I noticed that too... She had the same mannerisms as that sorority slut I had a good time with last weekend.... But then again, most of those people are the business men and women of tomorrow!!! "Like, Oh.. My.. God... GE has, like, had so many chances... Err, I mean GM, I mean..."
  19. Get used to it my friend... Saturn killed Oldsmobile, and now has apparently now successfully paralyzed Pontiac to its death. Didn't any of you Buick fans realize that Buick is next in the battle of brands? CPF has already said that he has no use for the division. MARK MY WORDS: The Saturn Aura, despite having less sales, less name recognition and less prestige (even to the average customer) will debut NICER than the Buick whatever-it-is-to-be-called. This will be for 2 reasons; 1) GM thinks it can get a higher price for the Saturn since it "has no baggage" and 2) Saturn is dieing to claim it's spot right under Cadillac as GM's middle brand. I hate to say it, but I envision a day in which GM consists of Chevrolet, Saturn and Saab if management keeps playing the cards like this. The ONLY reason Chevrolet will survive is 1) because of its size and 2) because the 'blue bloods' at GME don't want their brands peddling Daewoo junk. Cadillac will turn into what Lincoln is today, (From the looks of product plans) except it'll be held to a higher standard, and eventually be laughed out of existence.
  20. FWIW, I'm sure the higher trim levels will still have all of the 'extras' (At least I hope, since that is all that will save this car from being another Century)
  21. Yep... Same "Accord style" headlights that can be also found on the new Cruze, the new Aura, the new Insignia and pretty much anything else from GME. I remember when everyone (including me) bitched about how similar and BLAND the G6 and Cobalt were when they launched together. I guess history will repeat itself.
  22. WOW!!! What an ugly, generic looking S.O.B. But hey, what else would one expect from GME? Man alive... Did they just bolt the ass of an Avalon/BMW on there or what? I mean, I know both the Germans and Japan Inc. had been aspiring to become Buick (even as the press ridicules Buick, yet doesn't bat an eye at the ugly, generic foreigners) but really? That's sad... Especially since the concept was so awesome. But alas, same GM, same mistakes.... Buick concepts have ALWAYS been show stoppers (Better than both Cadillac and Chevy) and their production cars have always benn plane-jain watered down to nothing.
  23. LMMFAO.... This country is falling faster than a 747 without engines and this is the lackadaisical response we get from the average 'analyst' and 'economist' It's almost as if they're either too naive or too careless to see the writing on the wall. Yep... Let GM die... Then I'll get my rocks off laughing as this country dies and all of the ignorant people that keep screaming "The sky is falling, but it's too late to save us" see their mortgaged to the hilt, foreign car fortress, 'educated' world collapse Seriously... If GM is to die and companies such as Budweiser can be had so cheap and easy that we don't even fight; where do you think the rest of this country is headed? SERVITUDE and RUIN, that's where. But keep laughing it up america, I know I am!
  24. That's sad and not surprising at the same time. the owner always seemed a bit shady to me (After all the Studebaker exposure) I was pulling for the company though.
