    The Syrian thing ties into the people not getting any smarter. We keep seemingly coming back to that. There is a part of me that really dislikes Ford and wants to see them fail....which actually bothers me. With a billion people driving oil will become an issue at some point... surprised that it hasn't happened yet. Also, would love to know the actual profit per vehicle on Civic, Encore and Trax. Honda does not fleet out like Ford but they absolutely love their low cost lease special offers.

    ....ohhh yeah.... Like I said...I love it when American companies are really ethical and do the right thing! Plus they are killer mats...we have them in all of our vehicles at work....they are better quality than anything else made. Even if you were ISIS and just wanting to keep sand out of your Toyota truck before it got blown to paradise and back by the Kurds or the Iranians, Weather tech mats would be a stylish and long lasting (longer than the about to be obliterated Tacoma) choice. They would also insulate your knees better than those cheap Chinese copies when you pray five times a day in the hot desert sun...

    For me it is a human rights issue and not a globalism issue. Looking at planers for my woodworking shop right now, not sure I can find an American tool to do exactly what I want....trying to find one made in Taiwan rather than China if I buy new. Personally, I think we need to have a revitalization of American entrepreneurship...more than laws or import quotas...we need American innovation... ...and we need American laws to protect the intellectual property rights of American companies from being stolen by Chinese companies.

    Very much so! I could see swapping a vintage nailhead Buick into a 32 Ford Chassis if one wanted to build an era correct replica of a 50's custom roadster...that would be a justifiable GM swap into a non GM vehicle. Like the older Benz, but on the upper two, it is lipstick on a pig...

    Flyin Miata has an LS conversion package....the 1700 horse version in a car that weighs 2200 lbs...a little over a lb per HP....yeah...I could enjoy that! What I would put it in though is an exocet, a kit car that uses Maita suspension bits and driveline and weighs in at about 1200 lbs... This with the 1700 HP twin turbo, please...more than 1 HP per lb....yeah....
