  1. The Taurus can run over $40,000 also, I think the Maxima is at least more exciting than a Taurus, or Avalon for that matter. I think the Impala is the most exciting from a styling standpoint, it looks good in the front. Taurus, Avalon and Maxima are all back markers for the class though. And the Impala drives as nice as it looks.
  2. The crash test safety of this, the Fiesta, the 500, etc. keeps them out of my interest. Offset frontal is nasty. Honda does seem to be going more mainstream and less fun to drive with its stuff. You can only get the Accord Sport in Silver or Grey, not very interesting choices on an already bland car IMHO.
  3. The rental I had rode fantastically.
  4. Nissan Maxima....most sub par upscale sedan. As Drew once said, its a fine car, just not very exciting and wildly overpriced for what it is.
  5. Gm builds decent small cars, but I am with you, other people's product is better in the small car lineup.
  6. 24 is astonishing. I checked out the Durango at the local (Buyers Dodge on Hamilton) dealer, actually didn't mind it too much.
  7. Which is why I want a G3 as my next autocross car.
  8. Makes infinite sense. Although I think CNG and diesel also make sense.
  9. Interesting project. Any updates on the B59?
  10. Toyota really does not need BMW for this. They do however need to add some spice to the line up. Scion TC is the last sports car they did, and the current one is god awful.
  11. Absolutely. When SMK gets it right, he really gets it right.
  12. That new Kia is a sharp little car. Amazing that Honda and Toyota sell as well as they do when the Koreans are kicking their butts like this.
  13. Actually, I think this is a fantastic looking car. Interior is very, very nice. When they first came out I was turned off by a few cars that had been seemingly rushed down the production line with regards to interior quality. However, once production got ramped up, i can honestly say that I think every interior that I have seen has been very well bolted together. Were I not a hot hatch/sport compact kind of a guy, this car would really be on my short list. As it is, methinks a GTI would trump it, albeit at a higher (much higher) cost.
  14. Part of the problem with the BRZ as it was sold as the second coming of Christ to everyone.....once people realized that it was just an automobile, part of the enthusiasm died. Also....New Mustang Ecoboost 4 cyl. MUCH nicer car for anyone concerned about using the car in the real world vs. just as a track/autocross car. It is really hard to beat domestics when it comes to trucks, SUV's, family sedans, and coupes. Esp. Coupes. I mean....what import coupe is as nice as the new Camaro?
  15. Sadly I pretty much have to agree with you both.
  16. Really, i actually like the new GTI MK VII more than the A3. But Audi is the new brand for up and coming professionals. Probably why they and Subaru are up more than almost anyone else in our (North American) market.
  17. I could see that in my driveway!

  20. Enjoy your time with Albert!
