  1. Glad to see MINI up...
  2. Marketing is a failure, and as much as I like my Miata...hate to admit it...your right, they will not exist as a stand alone player...
  3. I'm seeing boatlaods of new Hyundais around, bunches of Velostars....
  4. Crappy, crappy cars....crappy crappy sales...
  5. FRS is doing well.... WOW, surprised to see Toyota up this much....
  6. My bucket list is much shorter....I want to achieve these cars, and I am dead serious about owning them. #1-I want to Keep a MINI Cooper S in my stable, enjoying the one in the fleet right now... #2-I want to keep some sort of roadster around...if I ever sell the Miata, I want a Solstice GXP, Honda S2K, Boxster, Z4, or the like....but I will probably just keep a Miata round as it is so much fun to autocross. I also want to build a Factory Five roadster....and yes I know cars with roll up side windows are not technically "roadsters" but you guys know what I mean. #3=Subaru BRZ, nuff said #4-want to own a vintage GMC/Chevy pickup, unlike Roger I prefer the 49-55 series to the 55-57 trucks.....but would take anything 47-72. That's my whole bucket list....I also want to own a Jeep Wrangler , and I think I'm going to do that through my sixteen year old daughter...she wants one badly.
  7. I agree with you, dfelt... And interesting that Benz is picking up sales volume....
  8. Glad to see the CTS doing well....
  9. They are eating the lunch of Toyota and Honda...breaks my heart. Optima is a good car, and Kia Forte Koup is a billion times nicer than Scion TC...so we'll see what happens.
  10. It is cool to see them get that much power....
  11. I could handle the Dodge power wagon as a toy, but for real world use the Camino
  12. I really do think that GM is building better cars than BMW right now...
  13. I'll be waiting to hear your response!
  14. Exactly....and I like how on star is available on everything....
  15. I'm going to have to drive the Miata to Philly to personally kick your butt for falling for the Dodge power wagon, even if it is totally out of this world awesome. But I liked the Camino best, followed by the Chevy and Ford full size. There are two of us who like the camino best....
  16. Happy birthday, sir!
  17. Sounds like a neat little truck!
  18. The new Volvo's have been rated very well in reviews, but we will have to agree to disagree. A new Jag will be a pricey option if you choose it. And I really like the new CTS better than the old one....different strokes for different folks. I am not a luxury car kind of a guy, I prefer performance and handling myself. Good luck to you sir.
  19. Exactly...and while the car is hugely fast, it isn't anywhere near as reliable or easy to wrench on as a Corvette C6, it's largest competitor here. I think a lot of performance cars are going to go away....
  20. If yopu count SEAt and Skoda and the Chinese brands they own, by some counts they are almost already #1. So long as they keep building the good ole GTI and Goldf diesel in Germany, and keeping the quality up on them, I won't mind too much. Sort of the same thing as Porsche building 4 doors so they can stay alive to build the Cayman and the 911....
  21. I've rebuilt carbs before, they came out fine... give it a try!
  22. Okay then, maybe I'll just build that Factory Five roadster....
  23. Maxx is a great car, sorry again your having problems. LOVE the 64 Galaxy design, one of my fav. big fords!
