  1. A six speed GTO would be my choice. Followed by a slightly used Cobalt SS/TC...or a Solstice GXP. Chris
  2. Oh, BTW...Nice looking truck. Should make quite the nice family vehicle. Chris
  3. $2500? Chris
  4. Bear looks a bit like my big Maine Coon Male cat, Fluffy. Chris
  5. Moving forward...and out of control! Chris
  6. Finding the time to relax is very important IMHO. Post pics of some of your stuff...I'd love to see it. Chris
  7. Sadly, I see a LOT of BOF RWD cars crushed flat and headed for the shredder. Chris
  8. Back to the CB thing, I've seen a factory CB in several GM cars. Looked at buying a 78 Pace Car Corvette once and IIRC it had a factory CB. Chris
  9. When I was student teaching, one of my students had a VERY clean 65 Sport Fury ragtop, white on blue just like the Indy pace cars that year. Was one of my favourite Mopars. Also had a friend who had a 64 Sport Fury...sweet car also. Chris
  10. I would agree with this also. The Challenger is growing on me more and more all of the time. Chris
  11. I would agree. This is another car that makes living on teh bus line look attractive. Chris/66
  12. Like I said before, Benz is the longest lasting car on the road, 19.7 years average. I would give you a figure for Kia, but my stopwatch broke.... Chris
  13. Given what I've heard of the place, I am trying really hard to keep it that way, DF. Chris
  14. Actually Scion just won it's first ever national racing (class) championship at the NASA racing championships at Mid Ohio this year. It beat out a RWD car (RX- to do so...and it was a FWD TC. However, given that guys modding TC's pretty much start with a 20K car and dump 10K in (seemingly) it just doesn't seem like money well spent. For 30K, one could buy a G8 GT or a slightly used BMW 3 Series, either one of which will just own a TC. Or a used C6, a Used C5 Z06, A used CTS-V, a used Bird, Camaro, or Stang, or... Chris
  15. It really isn't much of a show when you get four ad breaks every three laps. Chris
  16. I enjoy sex...but I enjoy just spending time with my wife and children also. Chris
  17. Me too! And I hate chain resteraunts also. Chris
  18. keep it coming, bro... Chris
  19. If it melts the tabletop, and then sets my shoelaces on fire when it eats through the plate...it is hot enough for me. I just LOVE what you hate. Chris
  20. Nice little dog....been thinking about getting a small dog for the family. You and I look a bit alike...esp. when I cut my hair really short... Chris
  21. My inlaws owned an early 1990's Hyundai...it should really be on the list. Worse IMHO than the cars of British Leyland....and that's saying something. Chris
  22. They built some cool stuff on the W body chasis, for sure. Chris
  23. You might try getting it buffed at a body shop. I got my Safari van buffed when it faded out, and it still looks good. The secret is waxing the car every 3-4 months with good wax and keeping it washed once you get it buffed. I got the van done for $125, which wasn't bad. The guy that buffed it buff's/rubs out cars like Lexus, Benz, Cadillac, etc....he did a nice job. Since your car is smaller, and you live on Long Island perhaps the two factors would blance each other out, and you could get a similar deal. Good luck! Chris
