  1. So this is getting a little worrisome... It all started back in late October, I had the Cavalier in to the dealer to have it inspected before the snow flew and about 2 days after I got it back, I was driving home and the coolant light came on. When the engine was nice and cold, the coolant was just about an inch below the "Full Cold" line. I took it back to the dealer and talked to the service manager, he decided to fill it for me himself because it should have been checked... so he filled it up for me en gratis and it seemed fine, but now, on my way home, again the coolant light came on, so when I got home and the engine cooled off, sure enough, coolant is almost an inch below the "Full Cold" line. There's no noticeable stain on the pavement under my car so could this be an internal coolant leak? or worse, could it be the Head Gasket? What should I do from here? Coolant Pressure Test? Anyway I appreciate any advice you might have.
  2. You know the old adage... GM Cars will run bad longer than most cars run at all

  5. My Grandparents' old 2001 Caravan Sport being sold @ a GM Dealer for more than it's worth.
  6. Sorry to hear about what happened to you. It's people like you who keep psychopaths like that off the streets and out of OUR way, so a tip of the hat for 'taking one for the team'. You must have been bored spending all that time off duty. When my dad was run over by a stolen car @ a police road block in 1974, he was so bored that he was back on duty a week later doing desk-work.
  7. Maybe that's what happened to Fly...
  8. I agree, I'd put the moola into keeping your other Reatta and the LeSabre in tip top shape, although you really are blessed to have two Reattas!
  9. Is a Diesel/Electric 2-Mode Hybrid possible in theory for even more fuel economy? Regardless I've always liked the styling of the VUE but this hybrid model just looks tacky to be. Could it be the large hybrid sticker in the window? Could it be the oversize doorsill decals? Could it be that ugly efficiency gauge in the place of a tachometer? I don't know I just think that It's too flaunty, like Hey I have a hybrid! I prefer the Malibu, Tahoe, and Aura hybrid which are not as showy... But that's just me.
  10. Agreed... I'll be upset there's no Large RWD cars... I'll be even more upset if Lucerne and Impala aren't replaced at all and just cease to be... but at the end of the day it's a business decision and GM has many other fine cars I would enjoy such as the Aura, 08 Malibu, Acadia, and the 2010 LaCrosse. I rooted for them in 1999, why should I throw in the towel now?
  11. I really miss the offering of greens too... It really just needs to be a rich green, and it'll sell. The colour I really hated was Smokey Caramel Metallic for the U-Bodies in 2001.
  12. I checked his MySpace and he logged in there today.
  13. I was wondering the same thing... Where is Fly?
  14. Didn't Maximum Bob call BS on Chevy getting an Alpha?
  15. *Cringes* I wouldn't want the Saturn commies infiltrating Buick-GMC

  17. That's the problem with the Impala... Too much red.
  18. Buick's not going anywhere.
  19. Let us know how the Focus works! I can't believe they'd be THAT bad... But I surmise they're no 500.
  20. I agree... and a little birdie makes me think that RWD is only safe at Pontiac right now... so your idea may yet come to pass.
  21. The Phoneyest (?) plood I've ever seen is in the Impala we just bought... the stuff in LaCrosse is fake too but it looks more believable.
