So... Who Here Misses Josh?

I...ran CheersandGears to its greatness (until I left and now they don't have a steady server)

As easy as it would be to do otherwise, I'm gonna take the high road.

You know, I've never really stopped and read the GM Source before, but this is some of the most unprofessional automotive "reporting" I have read in a while. No wonder GMS gets like 5 hits a month.

TheGMSource - Lutz says the jokes on you...again. After another report surfaced that suggested Maximum Bob is set to retire in 2010 Lutz fires back. He's not thinking about retirement. He's thinking about flying jet fighters, dude.

Seriously, I don't know if he's thinking about flying jet fighters (and the new Bud Light 'dude' commercial was on sorry), but it seems I sorta kinda started a trend when it comes to remarks from our man crush. I mean come on, how else can you explain the AutomotiveNews piece published today that states Lutz told them he's not thinking of retirement via e-mail? Seriously here, didn't we cover that base already (and chastised for it)? Sooo unoriginal Automotive News.

“Read my lips: I am not thinking retirement,” wrote Lutz in an e-mail to Automotive News this afternoon. “The job is better than ever, and so is GM!!!!”

Right on Bob...but we can't read your lips in an e-mail. If you're willing to invite us down though, we can read your lips in person.

But for real. Lutz isn't going anywhere...at least not until they carry him out of his office in Warren and the Ren Cen in Detroit and guess what...I'm perfectly happy with that. As long as he's not senile...and even if he becomes senile...as long as he just forgets his wifes name and not how to run GM design I'm cool with that.

Really...how important is the old ladys name when your running GM design?

I miss Josh...

I've posted with Josh for many years (almost as long as I've posted with Camino) We used to burn the boards up here, GMI, CZ28, SSRRS and at TCC.

He was much better back in those days, I'm not sure what happened. Then again, I guess we all change. (Look at what I turned into) I think he was a part of the best times here at C&G and he certainly contributed to the success of this site, like it or not.

I really wish things could've turned out differently as I think we had such a good staff back then (Not that we don't now, because it's largely the same people minus a few of us)

Oh well.... Feel free to flame me if you want.

What good is it talking about Josh on here now? He likely doesn't read C&G anymore, I know his account was deleted because I re-registered the name Josh (if you didn't figure that out earlier, you're a dumbass) and he would just say that we're all jealous of him anyways. If you want to poke at Josh (not the way I want to poke at him  ) go register at GMS and start a thread about how nobody ever posts there, that seems to annoy him. I haven't posted over there as functioning_alcoholic in a while. He even had the nerve to delete a few of my posts, not even the ones that were blatantly based on his posts here.

Chris told me to. Don't look at me, I'm just his little messenger. He says, I do. :P

If a tree falls in the wood, and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

yes because air still moves and makes sound waves. unless this wooded area is in a vacuum or has a black hole next to it.

Can't say I do. Last time I talked to him was sometime last year. He tried to offer me a "job." It consisted of trying to get people to join GMS and quit C&G. He's pay me per person I got to join. The only stipulation is that I had to quit C&G. I laughed, told him he was crazy, and haven't heard from him since.
