  1. 1959 Edsel Corsair! I am also keenly awaiting more inflammation about this Corsair. I will bet you a lot of money it will be cooler than the Cadillac TX4 or whatever it's called.
  2. Orange Aztek this morning at the gasoline filling station! In beautiful condition.
  3. That ship will be so far out of port by then... over the horizon, even
  4. The stuff of science fiction! Very cool. Would be hilarious if they actually pull off some sort of desirable electric vehicle sometime in the next 35 years!
  5. Kicks...........................Kona wheelbase 103.1...........102.4 total interior volume 93.9..........94.1 cargo room seat up 25.3................19.2 cargo room seat down 32.3.............45.8 (how this is measured might be different between OEMs) Kicks and Kona are pretty darn close in size
  6. Most W140 sedans, being top of the line, were originally upholstered in German leather. (1991-1999) BUT... going BACK IN TIME... US bound Mercedes Benz W126 sedans were upholstered in either genuine leather or MB Tex vinyl, most factory colors are available. Most W116 sedans were originally upholstered in either MB-Tex vinyl or German leather. W108 and W109 sedans were upholstered in either MB-Tex vinyl or German leather except for some Euro models The "Fintail" sedan's upholstery were available in either MB-Tex vinyl or German leather. From a website that specializes in Mercedes interior restoration materials. ? https://www.worlduph.com/mercedes_benz/
  7. Dude the Kona is tiny and on the edge of usefulness because of it... I will be waiting to see how a CUV even smaller will work in the USA... I could see it working in Europe... but America?
  8. Actually I would rather have a higher quality leatherette (my Beetle TDi for example, and my Compass bolsters) than actual leather. It wears much longer and is not prone to cracking. Compare an old S-Class with MB-Tex and leather, I guarantee you the leather will be in worse shape. I am very pleased that my Compass bolsters look perfect after almost 40k miles. My previous Colorado (traded at 38k miles) cloth bolsters were wearing, scuffed and wrinkled on the outer edge.
  9. I read it the other day. It didn't cause a blip because DUH, who didn't already know this? No need to reply or contradict the obvious.
  10. Are they smart enough for that?
  11. https://www.gmc.com.mx/pickups/sierra-regular-4x4
  12. Hey BARRA... I want to know RIGHT NOW why the USA doesn't get this truck and Mexico DOES! Regular cab short bed Sierra, plus it is in mid-level trim!
  13. HAHA, here in PA, the law states... simply remove summer air and replace with winter air. No need to switch the en tire
  14. Sorry but all of their cars came with those very nails. It had jack to do with any EV plans and it is pure trolling and foolish to think that it was when their sales (and their cars) have been garbage since day one. Take a look at sales data and then report back. Immediately. Around here, still see a good few first-gen Smarts. Hardly ever see the "bigger, better" second gen. And ZILCH Smart electrics.
  15. Misty watercolor memories of the way we were.
  16. Final nail was their changeover to all-EV. TAKE A HINT, BARRA!
  17. zzzzz
  18. Yup, and the Ford Bronco will have removable doors and roof as well, with the side mirrors attached to the a-pillar, unlike the Wrangler/Gladiola, which have the mirrors attached to the doors. Ford has a better idea here.
  19. I wait for the Jeep to ask for it. Speaking of, it just flashed tonight on the way home from work. 39k + miles on odo, had it changed about 6k miles ago. It takes 0-20 synthetic (like water). I use NAPA brand oil and filter and I get our service department to change it.

    Pictures!

Pic was taken about 16 years ago. Thanks, same to ya!
  21. Shoot... what's this thread about again? I forget
  22. Would have been cool on some fronts. Dodge desperately needs to be in more niches, so does Chrysler. I dearly love the Charger/Challenger/300, and rue the day they no longer exist.
  23. LOL what a novel idear no one has thought of before. Plus, how much are those modular toppers... plus plus... how much garage space do you need for all that crap? LOL
