  1. Reno, Verona (both Daewoo products foisted on Suzuki by GM) and Theta-based XL7 were complete disasters. This triple threat sunk Suzuki here in the USA.
  2. OMG not again I am of the firm belief that GM ruined Suzuki in the USA, with the crap GM forced on them. They would be in a very good position in the USA now, with their SUV/CUV heavy lineup.

    Pictures!

  4. Haha... kinda sad, really. Motor Trend pans the Silverado WT as uncomfortable and not good to drive, with a non-height adjustable driver's seat that is too low to the floor. I was thinking of getting one, a regular cab, but I haven't driven one yet. At 5'5", I don't want to be pulling myself up on the steering wheel to see to drive. The trusty 4.3 is plenty quick in the crewcab 4X4 they tested though, with a 7.6 second 0-60 time, and 24 real MPG on the highway. Should be a screamer with the 5.3 and get mileage close to the 6. I did sit in a couple that were left unlocked at dealerships, but they were mid-level trims with power seats. I could see over the dash in those.
  5. Sure, at an estimated TEN THOUSAND dollar premium over a normal Wrangler, I am sure they will sell like hotcakes off an electric griddle.
  6. LOL good ol' Moltie with his faulty sensors.
  7. Low demand = low prices there, Chief.
  8. Marital status has zero to do with whether one is "grounded" or not. Give me your car keys and your phone for a period of 4 weeks, and use that time to search your conscience for enlightenment and guidance to correct the error of your ways.

    Thing Was Did

You know what, I like that. Good looking rig, and nice color too.
  10. Reminds me of a baby platypus. Other words escape me at the moment to describe the level of amusement this vehicle provides. This is Musk trolling his cult so hard, and they either don't see it or they do.not.care, they are so in love.
  11. I understand they wanted to extend the greenhouse "daylight" area into a point it was not practical to glaze. From here I cannot tell if the trim piece is glass or plastic. This is a break from Art & Science, to be sure. Even more of a clean break than what has come before. Art & Science is dead!
  12. This is GM at its best though, reg. It's that old Sloan system of retaining customers for life. In this case, the new CT5 is for folks who've been holding onto their IONs, waiting for the perfect replacement that doesn't upset their apple cart of style sensibility.
  13. Lovely little early Beetle Cabriolet in a shamrock green with mint white top, ahead of me in traffic on this Saint Patrick's Day. Beautifully restored.
  14. Thanks for shutting down the metric boys in this thread, Balthazar. Oh and yes, this latest badging scheme is stupid, even more so with the rounding up business.
  15. One The rest will be mock-ups with smallblock Chevy engines, with their sweet music dubbed out. That leaves one for the inevitable James Bond nerd with more money than brains.
  16. People have NO CONCEPT of what this sign means. Some stupid broad in an old MKX didn't even try to slow down merging onto the highway tonight. I held my ground, she fell in behind... then promptly floored it, pulled up beside me, and proceeded to cuss me out at 60 mph. You know what? Eff that! ?
  17. This was an earlier truck, with unsullied Hemi power. Thankfully still available at Ram, with no hybrid junk designed to hoodwink confused, on-the-fence truck buyers into thinking they're buying the Prius of trucks.
  18. LOL the Ram e-Torque is such a load of BS... rated for 22 MPG, gets 16.8 in real world, purpose-driven MPG loop by these guys... mighty little Chevy 2.7 got over 24! And right now Ram has suspended availability of the e-Torque Hemi in the Rebel and 1500 Off-Road package trucks! I told you guys it was a scam!
