I like those big wagons...because my siblings were older and out of the house by the time I was 5, my folks never had a wagon when I was kid...family cars were a mix of '70s Continentals then '80s Town Cars that my Dad usually drove, and '70s-80s Cougars, Thunderbirds and Mustangs which my Mom usually drove. And a '69 Mustang and '67-68 Cougars for summer fun cars, and RVs. 30-40 years ago, fels like a really long time ago...I remember those big Lincolns just quietly floated down the road...all gone now...

Such is reality. Can't imagine bench seats will ever make a comeback. I remember the long, low and wide 70s full size cars from childhood, but that was over 40 years ago..

The Bolt is a novelty econobox--for city commuters that want something with a small footprint for tight parking spaces, I suppose.

So many possible choices..will have to give it some thought.
-
I can't imagine someone buying a Bolt over an E-class, though. Different niches. Commuter econobox vs. a midsize luxury sedan...

Whatever...wasn't the commercial chassis and the Fleetwood 75 chassis the same some years? Maybe later...

Heavy rain last night here..supposed to hit 60 today, maybe close to 70 tomorrow... the light snow from a couple days melted, my back yard is muddy w/ standing water in places.

Funeral home flower car. Built by specialists on a Cadillac commercial chassis.

Yeah, kind of dim under the car...the QS&L near me (Valley View, Oh) has racing cars inside--a Michael Andretti Indy Car and an older Monte Carlo stock car.

Alfa Romeo has been in F1, but it's been a while...most recently 30 years ago as an engine supplier, and 33 years ago as a constructor.. Will be nice to see the name back, even if it is unsuccessful... Supposedly a full size Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are under development, based on the Ram and maybe in the SWB/LWB approach of the Tahoe/Suburban and Expeditions. And a smaller 3 row based off the Cherokee is coming for China. Not sure if will get anything like that here...

Saw an Amphicar yesterday, white w/ a black convertible top. First one I can recall ever seeing..was up on a rack inside the Quaker Steak & Lube Restaurant, Vermillion, Ohio. Walked underneath--neat looking, flat bottom w/ twin propellers at the back. In the restaurant parking lot, saw a black Tesla Model S (don't see many around NE Ohio compared to Scottsdale), and a new '18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in dark gray---sharp, the differences from the previous are subtle--biggest cues are the lighting changes front and rear.
-
For a supercharger that large, you would need a big block...a really big block.
-
Saw a black Stelvio in traffic today, first one I think I've seen..also saw a dark red Giulia.
-
Not sure why they would go for Stelvios...BMW has had M versions of the X5 for years..an M version of the X3 is coming for '19 I've read..

It's a '57 Chevy 4dr, looks like.

Not a fan of the 50 shades of gray interior shown, but I'm sure I could find an interior I like..looking at the configurator for the current model, I like the Designo Saddle Brown/black interior w/ Dark Brown Linden wood (the family farm has linden trees, so that gives me the warm fuzzies). I like the Cranberry Red/black interior also.

The early 90s generation was a high point of Accord styling, IMO. They couldn't build this today because of tougher safety standards. But the outward visibility was great, the styling was crisp and clean, no gimmicks or cheese. And 3 body styles.
-
Charger was my first thought also when I saw the front end of the new Accord..I guess they are trying to go outrageous looking to compete with the new emboldened Camry. Accords were always clean and subtle for the most part in the past, no more..

I love how outrageous and exaggerated those vintage illustrations were...got some Pontiac and Cadillac styling cues in there..

Looking into it...there are 3 from my other ATP list that qualify, but I may want to change things up... stuff to mull over.

After moving back to Ohio last year after years in the West, it is funny is how many GM cars of the last 20 or so years I still see around....not just Chevys and Cadillacs, but Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Saturns, Pontiacs even. Way more it seems than I saw in the Phoenix area during a typical week...
-
Well, it is a coupe...coupes aren't known for having lots of headroom in the back....they have the X3 and X5 for those that want more rear headroom...

I'm sure an X8 will be coming, but probably a 4dr coupe. A big 2dr hardtop SUV coupe would be cool...
