  1. Cool...more RWD 2drs is a Good Thing.
  2. Yeah, what call 'Pro Stock' today is hilarious...I saw one of those vile rounded turds that was labeled a Pontiac G6, it was more of a funny car than anything 'stock'....Pro Stock should require 100% stock body panels, IMO.
  3. True, but they still do look like real cars...real, RWD cars..not FWD appliances. Where are the cars that look like a FWD? NASCAR does not even come close to that unless you count stickers a grill and tail lights. The problem with NASCAR is that they have RWD race cars using the names of FWD street cars (Impala, Fusion, Camry). There are plenty of series that do have production-based FWD race cars (WTCC, BTCC, Grand Am, etc).
  4. With the crazy disguise paint can't really tell much about what it looks like...
  5. True, but they still do look like real cars...real, RWD cars..not FWD appliances.
  6. Saw some wierdness w/ badging over the last few days... Saw a Dodge Ram that someone had reworked the taillight badging to read 'DOUG'. Saw a Chevy Volt that someone had rearranged the lettering to read 'VLOT'. Saw a black Tahoe in Ohio that had the door badging changed to something like 'KINGSTON' or 'KINGMAN' in factory-styling lettering...strange.
  7. Speaking of coupes in midsize FWD models..I think this is the only one for '13 (unless Nissan does a coupe version of the new Altima). A coupe version of the Fusion would look great, but I doubt if Ford would build it.
  8. Chevy could use the same idea to make an El Camino from the Traverse. That would be cool..sort of.
  9. The Chevy probably had a rusted out frame in a salty Rust Belt state.
  10. And risk this happening? I think not! That looks like a Chevy w/ the tilt bed...
  11. Economics means they have to continue to share FWD platforms w/ Fiat as they have done for decades.. though this possible new sports car platform with Mazda is promising.
  12. I had an '88 Bronco II 4x4 for 6 years, but if I had to do it over again I would have preferred a Cherokee or Wagoneer. (the Bronco was free, so I couldn't complain much)
  13. A Ridgeline seems like a good compromise--could make a plow truck, but it also has the car/truck style and appeal of an El Camino...
  14. You just had to know someone was going to post that here!! Not sure if the Accord would work well w/ a snowplow on the front..isn't Camino looking for a plow truck for the winter?
  15. Do you get it back out for winter use?
  16. Sports cars should definitely be the focus..a modern Spyder and a coupe of some sort. The market is flooded w/ FWD subcompacts, compacts, CUVs and other appliances..they need unique selling points.
  17. Holden will probably just get an Impala rebadge..they are getting the Malibu, after all...
  18. A stretched CTS-v wagon hearse would be interesting...esp. if you were in a hurry to get to the burial..
  19. Here's a couple pics of the red '12 Impala LT I had over the long weekend in Ohio. It was rainy last night, got into quite a bit of mud this morning coming up the hilly, curvy portion of the 3/4 mile driveway... I had a relaxing weekend visiting family...spent some time hanging out by the ponds, didn't go fishing, though.. Saw 4 deer strolling in the high grass near this pond yesterday afternoon... Even w/ the drought they've had this summer, it's still very green there...
  20. The ones at the airport were silver, white, and gatorade
  21. When are the ss and zl1 versions coming?
  22. I wouldnt rent one though..too tiny...red impala nicer
  23. On thurs i saw chevy spark in the wild for the first time..alamo had them in the rental car garage area at cmh
