Nice car, not worth the money they're asking though. My issue with these cars, I had an '83 sedan, was that the steering wheel and gauges weren't directly in front of you if you sat in the center of the driver seat.

They didn't fix the ergonomics issue, so this car is still dead to me.

You basically said the same thing 6 times. Cadillac has the 3.6 which so far is proving to be quite reliable.

Clearly they screwed up the development of this car by not including a "Type-R" sticker..... those are good for at least 10 more horsepower at 98,000 rpm.

Considering those clunky FM modulators can easily hit $80 for digital FM, this isn't a bad price either.

Without the diesels available in the larger vehicles, Cadillac is going to have to settle for this reduced number.

The compared the vehicles all at the same price point right? I mean, you wouldn't want the comparison to be unfair by one of the vehicles being 7k cheaper than the others.

nissan VQ Ford 3.0 Duratec and 4.6 Chrysler 2.7 and 3.5 Toyota 2.5-3.0 litre V6s only recently replaced Not defending GM on this one, I think the 3.6 should be in there as the base engine.... but I have driven a Lucerne with the 3800 multiple times and it is a perfectly pleasing engine for the purpose of this car. If you want more power, get the N*. Show of hands... how many of you who are bashing the Lucerne with the 3800 have actually spent more than a round the block test drive behind the wheel?

The AFM has already been out on the Impala, GP, and the GMT-900s for well over a year now. If there was an issue with the AFM I'm sure we'd have heard about it.

I like how it was assumed that after being beaten in one quarter by Toyota, GM would just roll over and die...... that all future quarters automatically were awarded to Toyota.
