  1. Where is my midsize wagon (MAXX=dead) my decent minivan alternative (Something like the Flex, less SUV-like than the Lambdas) or 2-row SUV with decent cargo room (VUE has a rather small cargo area) or hell, even a midzisize pickup available in crew cab form with a diesel? I would go for either a 9-3 or 9-5 Sportcombi.
  2. I like it, coupe moreso than sedan.
  3. The Neon was available with a 3-speed auto for quite a while. It was supposedly more reliable than the more expensive 4-speed auto.
  4. How is a V40 not big enough for twins? Even if I double the amount of stuff I have in the car when I take Alex somewhere there is plenty of room left over. Then again, I dont insist on taking my son's entire bedroom to go to St. Louis for a couple of days. Oh, and the V50 (didn't feel like looking up the 40) is almost the same length as a 97 Pathfinder, and is wider than a 97 Pathfinder, its very likely that there is more useable space in the Volvo. Some people just need to be smart enough to know what to take and how to pack it.
  5. It was on MSNBC last night for like 3 hours. I'm not sure what time its normally on, I just catch it when its on at random times.
  6. Looks like the precursor to the Mazda 3.
  7. Using sugar can instead of corn would likely bring the costs down, if I remember correctly, sugar cane is cheaper to convert into ethanol than corn.
  8. The goats we were going to steal are M.I.A., they had been in a pen outside of a house out in the middle of nowhere, but the pen, and the goats, are gone. I'm not sure what the point of stealing goats was, other than to steal goats.
  9. Twas King Kong Oddly enough, I talked to the same dude this morning about stealing goats. I think I need new friends.
  10. Bugatti EB110
  11. I believe Ford, GM, Toyota and Hyundai all have DORDs that get a lot of work.
  12. Its based on an Opel, I believe is built in Germany. I doubt they're going to be making a killing. Still a pretty good price, all things considered.
  13. I went kayaking yesterday for a couple of hours on a calm, peaceful lake. Well, my kayak doesn't have a backrest, so to get paddling decently I hold myself in a semi-reclined position, I find it works better than sitting straight up or laying mostly reclined. The problem is that it kills the abs. In facts, here is the text I sent a couple of people last night as I was floating around the fishing access before I pulled out: One of the replies I got was from my friend Brandon: I didn't even know what to say, I have to admit it was a kinda funny thing for him to say.
  14. That show would be a great way to get C&G some pub. 'Blu could do a little online soliciting and show up at the house in a C&G shirt. Boom, instant increase in traffic.

  16. There was a dude in a blue Malibu sedan earlier.
  17. King Missle
  18. I really feel for Bowtie Dude Nah, the Walter Mondale is the best, especially when it follows a roman candle, a barbecue grill or a Greek salad.
  19. If so, I totally want to meet you to __________ and __________ while you __________ and __________ my __________ then we can __________, __________ and finally I can __________ all over your __________. But seriously, I catch this show from time to time andnot only are these guys creepy as hell, they're dumb.
  20. The best part about the Cincinnati Bowtie is that a lot of people dont know what is is, and the look on their face is priceless when they find out.
  21. I never had it happen in the roughly two years I delivered. I got hit on from time to time and got beer as a tip (or in addition to a tip) a few times, but never had a sex-for-pizza offer.
  22. I'm looking for a new one since those damned trannys beat me up and took my turf. Maybe I'll grab my Louisville Slugger and get my corner back. But seriously, I've managed to parlay my experience as a delivery driver/pizza bitch and my half a Bachelor's degree into a pretty sweet gig as a paperwork bitch for a company that sells crap to people who feel they need crap. The important thing is that I have a part-time assistant and a cubicle that I have decorated with Family Circus comics whose text I have whited out and replaced with punchlines that are actually funny.
  23. Not likely to happen. In fact Pizza Hut recently changed their commission structure, instead of getting a set amount per delivery (had been as much as $1.25) there is a scale based on number of deliveries per run, i.e. taking a single nets the driver $1.06 taking a double adds an extra $0.76 adding a third delivery adds an extra $0.21. A friend of mine who still delivers was telling me about this a few weeks ago, all of the drivers were bitching. I told him to get out, being a delivery driver hasn't been worth it in about two years, between gas, maintenance and depreciation, it just isn't viable as a full time job, which is what I told people when I left last year. Nobody believed me. Now they're making less than a year ago (even with the minimum wage increase) and I'm making twice what I used to..
  24. I imagine you on a bike is quite the presence.
