  1. I was talking national average, which is about $3 right now. Went up to $3.19 overnight here.
  2. Edge=better than any 5-passenger SUV/CUV GM offers.
  3. $3.04/gallon for 87 octane. Anyone who thinks gas is going to fall back down to $2.50/gal or less anytime soon is delusional and probably mildly retarded. People are willing to pay and unwilling to change driving habits, there is no need, from the oil companies perspective, to lower prices.
  4. Australia will ban your ass just for trying to show a Koala what a Cincinnati Bowtie is. Donkey Punching a kangaroo is punishable with prison time.
  5. Because Enterprise doesn't want to pay for tortise shell and nav.
  6. When I brother-in-law and I stopped to look at an Enclave, there was an Acadia parked right next to it, both had stickers of $38k. Yikes.
  7. Linkypoo
  8. Better than that Ven, at least from the retail standpoint, is that the Charger and 300 carry $2500 in rebates while the Charger R/T and 300C have $3000. The Lucerne on the other hand has a max of $2150 in rebates, per Buick's website. The LXs are totally doing as awesome as the Dodgeophiles would have you believe.
  9. A car with good resale is more appealing to trade in than a car with bad resale. Smart people know that rading in upside down is a bad idea, so if they dont want the mileage constraints of a lease but want a new car every 2-3 years a Camry or Accird makes more sense than an Impala. Better resale also helps when you total a car.
  10. On real cars, spoilers increase rear down force, on cars of this class, they're there for looks.
  11. 12mpg is a little better than 10mpg. Cant say I would view either as an economy car, though the '50 may do better by virtue of fewer cylinders.
  12. For under $6k (if you can get them down) then hell yeah. I've always had a soft spot for these, they're very good looking.
  13. Honda will have one for you in a couple of years, replacing the Accord hybrid.
  14. Box in a box (Its on YouTube, and probably funnier than Dick in a Box, which was hilarious)
  15. Scion xB at 2.7% ITS TEH FL33T QUEEN!!! Crown Vic is only 91.3%? The Audi A6 and TT are higher than I would have thought.
  16. I saw a red Cemry the other day and realized that all it needs is a facelift to get rid of that weird grille/hood and it wont be a bad looking car.
  17. Agree with big blue, it looks like an Impala, definitely not what is going to steal CamCord sales.
  18. The Montego has $2750 on the hood around here, Sable has nada.
  19. The Cherokee has been unibody since '84 (maybe earlier).
  20. The G6 looks better than the Ford triplets? Have you ever seen a G6 in person? They're ungainly from every angle, its what happens when you use the LWB Epsilon platform for the "sporty" model, its got the worst roofline I can remember seeing on any car. Plus, the interior sucks. You're only knocking the Fusion because you dont like me and I could actually afford to buy a car that will make it across the country and happened to choose that one.
  21. Totally agree, wish he had a chance against the big money.
  22. My last experience with a PT was last year when I test drove an '06 with a couple hundred miles on it. The salesman was giving me the "its practially a brand new car that will last a long time and its high quality, blah blah" speech then opened the glove box, then couldn't get it to close againa nd ended up breaking it.
  23. I actually like the Challenger, maybe more than the Camaro (which I really only like in vert form) but 0 n0zerz I spi teh b-pill@rz through teh windeez oh teh suxxorzz!!!!!11111oneoneoneeleventy
  24. The ION didn't have standard AC either, how many of those hit lots without it? I dont think I saw an ION after the first year of production that didn't have AC. Of the color choices presented, I'd have to go with Arctic White, since I'm tired of red, but I wish there were more choices. Cant wait to test drive an XR 3-door.
  25. The $6000 from the factory on Ram regular and Quad cab models will prevent that from happening. Not to mention the less expensive and discounted Colorado is a sufficient for many fleet buyers like parks departments, etc.
