Have you driven both? You cannot say that its unfair unless you've experienced both. Slight differences in tuning make a huge difference. Drive an Impala SS and then a Grand Prix GXP and you'll see what I mean. The Pontiac has a different wheel/tire combo and different shocks and it feels completely different from the Impy.

Yes, get a lawyer, it'll cost a bit more than just paying the fine, but your insurance wont go up. Or pleade not guilty and try to plea bargain with the prosecuting attorney, if its your first or second offense, you'll probably be able to get it changed to a non-moving violaion which wont cost you any license points and wont affect your insurance rates.

I really dont mind the exterior, its grown on me, although the CrewMax looks rather awkward, just like every other true crew cab truck. The interior doesn't look to be as horrible as some people say it is, but I agree that the nav screen appears to be a bit far away, I'll have to see it in person to know if its actually going to be a PITA for the driver to use. I'm not going to bash it or praise it because it sa Toyota. It will probably sell a lot better than a lot of people on here think, its probably the perfect truck for people who have been driving Camrys .

I lie it quite a bit, in picture form at least. I would have considered a Focus instead of the Fusion when I bought because I could have had more equipment for the same price, but one of the things that killed the Focus was the cupholder placement in all honesty. No word on hp, if they offered it with the same 2.3 as the Fusion it would go pretty well.

There was a county sheriff at the Ford dealership last time I was in getting my radio replaced. He and I got t o talking, and his general rule was that in town he would give people 5mph over simply because speedometers vary from car to car and many are off 5% or so. Anything over 5mph in town and you're screwed, with him at least. Outside of city limits (highways, side roads, etc) he followed the same guidelines but on 4+ lane roads he said that if somebody was driving safely (not swerving, tailgating, or anything like that) he'd give people 10mph over, but if they're driving recklessly he wouldn't.

Get a lawyer, worst case scenario is that its reduced to a moving violation. Best case scanario is you get a really good one who continues to get the case postponed then when it does go to trial in 6 months the cop doesn't show up for court(its Detroit so he'll probably get shot by then) and you get off scott free.

An '07 Pacifica weighs in ad 4500lbs, the '07 T&C weighs just under 4000lbs. I bet you'll find most other minivans weigh less than crossovers like the Highlander, Edge, Acadia, etc.
