Or do what a guy I used to work with did when he had to replace the 15inch wheels on his Avenger with 14inchers off of a Celica, keep driving by mobile radar units, see what your speedo says and see what the radar says. From that you can get a decent idea of how far off you are. Or not.

The fact that it wont be on lots or another year or two, and chances are it'll sell for a premium when it is released, dealer markups will probably be an issue the first year or two, then once the diehards get theirs the rest of the population will be able to get them for sticker.

I love the idea of the Astra, but would have to go with the 3-door, which would make a car seat more difficult, not to mention the loss of interior space from the Fusion, which I've already complained is a bit small for my needs. The Crewman would be great if it comes over, twould give me most the versatility I desire in a more efficient package than the Avalanche. Of cars available right now, I'd have to say that the 4-door Wrangler is inches ahead of the FJ Cruiser in my book.

Coming to an Aurora near you......the 2008 Highlander, xB and xD, simultaneously.The highlander is piss-poor ugly. I can tolerate the Scions, the xB isn't terrible, the xD is quite ugly-ish but no worse than the xA.

Could always go with the WT method and jam in between the dashboard and windshield. Its only true WT if the plate is expired AND there is a NASCAR plate on the front where the license plate should be.

The Wrangler is brand new and is finally starting to show up on lots in good numbers. The 4 door probably helps sales a ton.

My brother-in-law who seems to alternate brands (went from an S-10 to a Ranger to a Silverado to his current F-150) saw the new Tundra over the weekend and loved it. Totally gives me an excuse to go check it out.

This is the first thing that came to mind when I saw the front: Nissan just needs to go ahead and bring a 260Z to market, smaller, lighter, less ugly, cheaper, more like the original Z. -
Know which former mod I miss the most? Its actually one I forgot about, Budman, he modded the Saab forum for a while. Cool guy from what I remember.

As a Chicago native, I wanted the Bears to win, but as a rational being, I knew the Colts were going to win and probably make the Bears look bad, unless the Bears could somehow knock Manning out and force the Colts to punt on every posession giving Hester a chance to get like 7 TD returns in the game. Anyways, 9 days until pitchers and catchers report. Go Cubbies! Please dont lose 96 games again.

Speaking of 98 as a mod, I just found the adsd thread from the mod forum. Turns out that whole thing started exactly two years ago tomorrow. Croc's post (the first one in the thread) was Feb 5, 2005. I got to play the part of Fly. The good 'ol days?

I wont go into 98, but lets say its all for the best. Harly was never a mod/admin. Josh has a history of leaving websites because the rest of the staff doesn't agree with him. It'll happen with GMS (which does suck, btw) eventually just like it happened at GMI and C&G.

I saw my first Edge the other night and loved it. I also like the Murano a lot, but I think the Edge beats it in many categories.

Wow, the original mod ranks have really thinned out. First Croc and I resigned, then Josh and now FOG, not even mentioning the guys who were mods at the very start and haven't been seen in years. Guess what, the world continues to turn. C&G is still here, as long as we've got Fly and a solid core, I dont see that changing.

Only disappointment in the specs is that hp goes down 5 from the ION, I'm sure torque is going to be downeven more. And thats not even taking into account the optional 2.4 or Red Line versions of the ION.

I agree with the interior, it reminds me of the current Malibu, just a sea of sameness. But otherwise, its hot.

That Volvo appears to be a P1800, which are beautiful cars, especially in shooting brake form. A few years ago there was s tory about a P1800 coupe that a dude had been driving pretty much forever and the car had over 2 million miles on it. Ebay has one in the same color you posted.
