  1. Is Honda going to be the running mate? I dont think Toyota and Honda have enough trucks to appeal to the Super Duty loving right wing rednecks who continue to support dubya. They need a stronger, more "rugged" running mate.
  2. Link I assume you've overlooking it.
  3. I was kinda hoping for a smaller Murano, this thing just lookd weird.
  4. I had an '87 Dakota. $h!pile doesnt begin to describe it.

  6. I saw an Enterprise Fusion the other day, kinda made me sad. It was refrigerator white too, didn't look great since the chrome didn't stand out.
  7. Freestyle would be a great choice if you can fine a decently equipped one in your price range. I've heard very good things about them, the damned things just dont sell in very good numbers.
  8. Nah, that happened on a twisty, fast back road.
  9. I-44 going through Missouri. Not too hard to get a feel for it since its basically straight the entire freaking way between Springfield and St. Louis. I can drive it with my eyes closed.
  10. You've made you bed, now lie in it. Sure, its not Lutz' fault that GM was dependant on gas guzzlers for the last 30 years preventing them from picking up the types of credits other have, but he should be thinking more about meeting the standards than bitching about them since its unlikely they'll be changed.
  11. Someone has to be the scapegoat and so far people aren't latching on to Toyota being the cause of GM's problems, so why not use Congress which just went through massive turnover because of many unpopular decisions?
  12. I'm sure the millions of dollars it would have taken to get the b-body to meet government crash test ratings played a pretty big part in it. I couldn't find IIHS numbrs (didn't look too hard) but the NHTSA has the '96 Caprice as 4star front driver and 2star front passenger. Just food for thought.
  13. I've seen GMT-900 Sierras with red tags on them for a couple of grand off sticker.
  14. I eagerly await bobo's take on 2006. Does anyone remember 2005? That was some wackiness. And irony rocks!
  15. bobo's yearly "Cheers and Jeers" thread usually pays homage to the best rendition of the past year, as well as other moments from C&G in the past 12 months. I hope he does one this year.
  16. Link 2005 Isuzu Ascender. Exact same thing as an Envoy, except still under warranty and a hell of a lot cheaper.
  17. We're talking about GM, they show "concepts" 2 years before the start of production then "production" models a year before they start, so the 2007 curcuit would be the perfect time for them to show off what were eventually getting.
  18. Himmler
  19. An extremely wrecked (T-boned on the passenger side) red Aztek. I didn't have the digi to take pics, or else I would have for Reg's sake.
  20. supernova
  21. Was the strange taste of foot in my mouth. But really, I didn't get anything good. I was an afterthought since people spent all their money on my kid, seen above with his foot in his mouth.
  22. What? Why are you whispering?
  23. Alpha-Bits
  24. 1. Solstice (its an overweight jellybean with a cheap interior, at least the Sky looks good) 2. Sonata 3. 4Runner 4. Galant 5. Lancer 6. Expedition 7. Malibu/G6 8. RL 9. Prius/Civic Hybrid 10. Aura (Before you bitch, hear me out. Its a pretty good looking car and the interior seems miles ahead of the G6/'Bu but it still lookes like a slightly modified G6 to me, not exactly god's gift to GM like a lot of people make it out to be.
  25. Setting $h! on fire while driving a Sunfire?
