  1. Good lord that things is hideous. I wouldn't go quite as far as Croc, the Monte isn't this ugly, although if you slapped a hood scoop on it, you might have a good fight.
  2. A $3k down payment on an HHR LT2 would put payments at about $290/month and Smartlease at about $250/month (12k miles/year). You can estimate payments on Chevy.com.
  3. BV, dont waste your time arguing with old schoolers. Frankly, for track applications, the automated clutch system would be best as far as I can tell. As for it being less reliable, any transmission is vulnerable if it is abused.

    A pissing contest perhaps?

    Pictures!

  6. This is about performance, right? A good automatic will shift a hell of alot faster than any driver with a stick.
  7. Large trucks, minivans and compact cars. Wacky Canadians.

Ever watched a woman try to use a urinal? Awkward.
  9. Judging by the plate, they are Cincinnati Bengals fans. That doesn't make it right. No car deserves this.
  10. I really like it in that color. Agreed it would look better with a tan interior. Maybe with body colored accents like the M Roadster pictured here: Mainly the seats and steering wheel, not too crazy about the whole center stack, looks a bit ricerish. And they really need to dress up the passenger side of the dashboard, it looks like it fell out of the 80's.
  11. There is evidence that people engage in homosexual activities to be rebellious or troublemakers? Thats news to me. As far as I can tell homosexuality is a natural trait, hatred of it is learned.
  12. Wow, that looks strange. I think I prefer it the other way.
  13. Nah, just google the engines, you'll get all you need.
  14. 3 is a Hyundai 4 is an Isuzu by way of Honda.
  15. If you read a new post in a thread quickly, or clicka thread you've already red and want to get back to the new posts, it has the same message. Flood control is a little annoying, at least now its only 10 seconds, used to be 20.
  16. The should call it the S-Series, going retro and alphanumerics at the same time.
  17. With the top up at least, it blows the Solstice away in trunk space. Sharp looking car.
  18. This guy, as a forklift operator, makes about what three social workers or four high school teachers make around here. Am I supposed to feel bad for the guy?
  19. That usually happens. Big scares make people act like morons and go line up for gas, the net day, no change.
  20. Because I drank the Kool-Aid.

    The New Civic

I was up at the dealershio last night, they had a black sedan with some accessory rims that looked killer. I really think this car, even with its somewhat radical looks, is going to sell like hotcakes. Great advertised mileage, which means it probably gets better in the real world will help it a lot. The car seems like a solidly built piece, I was quite impressed.
  22. I hope the miles are a typo as well. Hopefully the car was broken in properly. Still nice looking chart, the kind of torque characteristics the imports could only dream of.
  23. Yeah, there is something inherently wrong with the same engine being in a 2006 MY luxury car that is in a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina APV.
  24. The word was hijacked many many years ago. More people associate the word gay with homosexual than with happy. To most people, queer is a derogatory slang term for homosexuality, instead of just meaning strange.
