  1. Harem Scarem's first album
  2. Don't really care either, I like when there is a good actor in a movie but that's as far as it goes. I never follow any celebrity gossip; I don't know who's dating / married to who and all that and I really don't care. I think a fair share of them probably have inflated egos and wouldn't give you the time of day on the street.
  3. Probably related to that Motor Trend review where they said it has grown big and ungainly.
  4. Late 2008 is going to be big for Ford if they can hold on. New B-car, new Mustang, new Fusion (plus Hybrid), new MKZ, new F-150, MKS...Flex too? That's just what I can think of off the top of my head. The consensus at BON is that October will be another painful month, then November and December will start to stabilize. Increases may not be seen until next year sometime, depending on how well the Taurus and Focus do.
  5. That surf blue color rocks! It really shows off the lines of the Charger.
  6. Good to see GM pulling ahead...it appears they are finally coming out of the slump. GM's stock prices lately have been reflecting its improved performance.
  7. I heard there is supposed to be a huge marketing pushing starting this month for the Taurus...hopefully that will pick up sales. So far they really haven't marketed it at all, and apparently inventory has been limited. What really hurt Ford's car sales was the '06 Taurus skewing the numbers...22,000 is a huge chunk of 60,000. The Edge / MKX / Escape all seem to be doing well, but they aren't enough to keep the market share from sliding. Ford needed a B-car yesterday, same with the Focus, and the '09 F-150 needs to get out here ASAP. I'm surprised the Explorer still sells over 10,000...it seems like I never see them anymore.
  8. Yikes... http://media.ford.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=26906
  9. Not a fan of tall, stubby sedans either. I know they're all about getting the most interior / trunk space, but I miss the days when compact sedans used to look good proportionally. I'd give up a few cubic feet of trunk space and interior room for something that didn't look so goofy. As for hatchbacks, I like them more than these compact sedans because they look a little more "normal" without stubby trunks and goofy notchback rear ends.
  10. I agree with that, I think that's probably one of the only reasons they're building it in Detroit rather than elsewhere.
  11. Yikes...so many cutlines and creases...
  12. Ford will still keep showing deep declines until November, when the Taurus was pretty much phased out completely last year. The Taurus was still selling 20,000+ units in September '06. Hopefully the new Taurus will start to regain market share.
  13. It's only going to keep going up with Prius sales rising and the increased capacity and Japanese plants.
  14. The Grand Marquis used to look pretty classy around 2002, then they started adding tacky wheels and then there was the '06 refresh that almost seemed like a step backward.I think the '06 refresh spelled the beginning of the end for Mercury. The '06 Mountaineer got somewhat uglified compared to the classier one before it. I've seen them in person a few times and the clear taillights and weird Civic Hybrid-like wheels just look awkward on a full-size SUV. Here's what I'm talkin about http://images.automobilemag.com/auto_shows...r+side_view.jpg
  15. I wouldn't mind a Panther either, they're a lot of car for the money. I'd probably go for a Crown Vic P71 or LX Sport though...maybe even a Marauder.
  16. I think it's supposed to be "George Washington" in a heavy accent, but I don't really understand how you get George out of Qiaozhi?
  17. I change every 3,000 miles. Like reg and others have said, the car just seems to run better and my car is fairly old so I'd rather be safe than sorry. I use synthetic but I still change every 3,000...sometimes 3,500 if I don't have a chance to make it home because I'm busy at school. Our last Lumina probably lasted as long as it did because of my dad's persistence on changing the oil every 3,000 miles.
  18. Ratt - Nobody Rides for Free
  19. I don't even bother, if there isn't a spot open close by I'll just park near the back and walk it. Actually, I like parking far away because it's easier to pull in, get out, and you don't have to worry about people dinging your car.
  20. 96%...for some reason I thought there were more than 30 ammendments.
  21. Where exactly is the "Ham Bone"?
  22. Tesla - Lady Luck
  23. What was that movie, Waterworld?, where they had to drink their own urine because there was no fresh water left in the world?
  24. Cars my family has rented on vacations in the past: 1995 Pontiac Trans Sport, gray (New York) 1999 Dodge Intrepid, white (Washington DC / Baltimore / Atlantic City / Philadelphia) 2000 Ford Taurus, red (Seattle / Vancouver) And when I was in Greece: 2006 Renault Clio
