  1. Not enough...I started out good...had a mixer of vodka and mango juice. Then did a few shotguns of beer, and had a couple coronas and a heineken. The rest of the night (even during the countdown) I was in the bathroom helping a kid out who drank way too much. Then after I finished with him, his friend got sick so I helped him out as well. Then my dad was going to drive home, but I wouldn't let him go by himself as I didn't think he was sober enough to drive. The night had gone on long enough where I sobered up enough to drive him home, so I drove him home, then just stayed home and went to bed. My night sucked.

  4. Happy Chrismahanukwanzakah everyone!

  6. I still need to get something for my sister and grandma...I got some of my shopping done today...I don't have any money anymore though...hopefully my mom will pitch in a bit for the driver I bought my dad...He's gonna love it...Taylor Made R7 460. I can't wait for him to see it.
  7. It's the same shifter as in the new X5 (just sayin if you want to see a "better" view)...

  9. :rotflmao: Sorry man...that sucks. So, I got kind of confused near the end...basically, you put oil in the tranny and ATF in the engine? Or did you just accidentally miss the tranny all together and put all the fluids in the engine? ANd your tranny uses 7 quarts of ATF? That seems kind of high... When you took out the fluids didn't you notice the difference in fluids? Generally ATF is red and oil (old oil anyway) is black. How long were you driving on it? I can't imagine the ATF hurt the engine too much, especially if you had plenty of oil in there...Just drain it and you should be good to go. If you're really worried, look up this stuff called Seafoam. They make several different applications which can be used to clean your engine from the inside. Here's the website...they have stuff for the tranny too... http://www.seafoamsales.com/ I'd be most worried about the tranny, but if you weren't driving on it long then it's probably fine.
  10. Very nice! Thanks Z! I especially love how when I do "view new posts" now it shows me what threads I have posted in. I was always disappointed it didn't do that before.
  11. Hmmm...Try checking the spark plugs...If it is misfiring perhaps one of your spark plugs is bad...are those cars prone to valve cover gasket leaks? Maybe you have some oil in the spark plug well? It could also be a bad cat causing backup in the system. Try taking a hammer/mallet and knocking on the cats...if it rattles then you have a bad cat.
  12. It's called the Rendezvous or something like that. One of my friends dads has the dvd and traced the route on a map. It's not a Ferrari, but I have heard many different rumours about what it truly is. I think I've heard it is a Fiat of some sort.
  13. I never cared for the style 89 rims too much...They tried to make them like the Alpina rims like this I think (I love these btw...) My favorite rims on the e65 (which in my opinion changes the entire car for me...I actually love it with these rims. Style-128's, the 21" version)... There is a white 750 (I've always had a thing for them in white) with those rims, and I can honestly say that I really like how it looks.
  14. What are the reasons why the suburban won't work (other than the warranty part)? I would honestly think that would be your best bet. We had a suburban before we got our X5...In my opinion it was somewhat of a downgrade. It isn't good at all for long trips...the ride is very sporty and can be harsh...it isn't nearly as comfortable as the suburban was, and obviously the suburban had much more space. The X5 is like a car trying to be an SUV trying to be a car. I have mixed feelings about it...but that's an X5, so that's a different story...
  15. I don't get that trend at all...I saw a nice B-body Impala SS that was ruined by enormous, gaudy rims like that parked in town one day.
  16. It says "M3 For(4) Sale" as in the guy bought it to replace his M3. It's funny to see some of the guys on the forum get all butthurt over it, but for the most part, they all thought it was pretty funny.
  17. lol, If by WV you mean Westlake Village, then no, that's not it...I stole this pic from BimmerForums.com...the guy posted it wondering if he should take it as an insult or not. His profile says he lives in San Jose/Newport (dunno which place that pic was taken at...I'll assume San Jose)...
  18. hehe...
  19. I like it...It looks good in that small pic. When I first glanced at it, Lexus/IS350 immediately came to mind...you guys probably don't want to hear it, but I mean that in the best way possible...
  20. My 540 has amber ambient lighting (matches the gauge/button light colors) at the front which points downward onto the center console area from the top near the reading lights/moonroof controls....I always thought it was pretty cool when I would be the passenger in other bmw's/cars with ambient lighting...it seems to get lost on the driver though. It does look cool though, and I'll get the occasional passenger who will pick up on it and compliment it.
  21. Yea, I was thinking that as well, but I know a guy who works at the local golf course where I believe they sell the clubs I'm looking for. I'm pretty sure he gets discounts on clubs and other stuff, so I'll have to stop by this week.
  22. I don't know what I'm getting...I just want my car to work again. So far, I bought a new ipod shuffle for my mom...she has been wanting one for when she goes to the gym. For my sister, I'll probably buy her some handbag she has been eying. I want to get my dad a new driver (golf club). He was looking at the Taylor Made R5, but I want to go a step further and get him an R7. He borrowed his buddy's R5 and it improved his game drastically (he has decent clubs, but they are a bit behind in technology...he's fine with most of his clubs, but he needs a new driver). I think this will be a combined gift though between my mom and possibly my sister as well as I can't afford to front all the dough for a club of that caliber...
  23. 60?! Might as well be freezing... Anyway, nice ride man. I keep thinking about the goat I test drove a couple weeks back. '06 with 600 miles going for 27k (the guy bought the car, and then something went wrong with his method of payment so the dealership took it back). It was still given a brand new car warranty and everything. It was perfect. Black with the red interior, 6-spd, 18" wheels (which do wonders for the car). I keep wondering what I should do with my car...I love my car...it's not even running right now though unfortunately. When I get it back in running condition I'll either fall in love with it all over again, or I'll go eye something else...hopefully something with an LS2 (if only I could do a swap into my car).
  24. It would be great if the Silverado won, but in reality I see the CX-7 and Camry winning.
  25. Happy B-day dude!
