Real-World Pontiac G8 pictures

Recommended Posts

Pics are great! I like the Pontiac Arrowhead logo concept. I hope Pontiac adopts it.

One question, where are the window switches located? Particularly on the rear doors?

The rear ones appear to be right in front of the door releases...the front ones, maybe on the console?

I think moltar is right about the window switches. The center console has window switches for all four windows right behind the shifter (you can see them in one of the pics), and I'm not positive but it appears the rear ones are right by the door pulls.

gm4life - I don't think I was at the G8 at any of those times. I left on Saturday at about 2:30 and wasn't looking at the G8 at 11:45, I don't think.

There is nothing I do not like about that car. It is the perfect next purchase. The G6 lease is up in T-minus 21 months and counting (praying for 6 month lease pull-ahead from GM).

This car should replace my CTS, I have 22 months on my lease. I'll put in a prayer toward lease pull ahead myself. :)

Northstar,

Awesome pics! I didn't get a chance to go in this year ... ah, well. Next weekend is out because I'll be recovering from the pacemaker surgery.

Maybe next time you're up this way ... or I'm in southern IL ... we can meet up.

That'd be cool, just let me know.

Real-life pictures look so much better than the "original release pics".

I'll be at the show today, which is good planning, since we should be getting 6" to 8" of snow tonight. Tomorrow should be a great day at the show if you have a snowmobile to get there.

The car looks dead in the press release photos. No gloss at all. Maybe GM does that so we'll be wowed when we see it in real life. Otherwise it's dumb not to put out good photos.

Anyone notice the Pontiac emblem on the brake calipers? Doubt we'll see those.

You won't see those brake along with the wheels, ride height will be a half inch higher than the show car, the interior won't be two tone, the leather wrapped dash won't be production either nor will the color.

um anything else? will it still be a 4 door sedan based on a Holden? :AH-HA_wink:
