  1. 30 is turning into 31+.... but yes, totally.
  2. maybe they're just planning the 4.9L DI for production already and maybe one other....more than that might be frozen? hopefully they already have an updated N* in plans going forward.

    Beyond Hot

    looks awesome

    Z/28 cancelled?

Like ford did in aussie land? *thinking of that clip of the ford vs holden that was posted a week ago*
  5. the Nox looks much more Acadia, i think it's a good move,...2.3L DI... hopefully a 5 or 6 speed comes with. maybe the BAS the Cruze... for being crappy pics, looks good. will it stick with the planned 1.4L T and the now 2.2L VVT?
  6. i'm not denying that, but could they do that if they couldn't "just print more money". i just cashed $150 of bonds. WWII was basically funded by bonds. I don't hear of anyone talking about buying bonds to help our debt, in the short term. daniel boone gave a "it's not your money" speech to congress way back when. socialism has torn this country apart. Gold can be socialized too, but it's harder to do. I think the root of FOG's old tirades point to socialism, from what i recall. there are people that see these problems and embrace them and the solutions. while lots and lots of people point the finger at government and want them to fix it, and like you said, the budget has been a mess 9 out of 10 times. the government needs fixing, and more only slows itself down, like a lazy runner that has gotten over weight and thinks food will help it run faster.
  7. RSS is quite process intensive from what i hear. if you have a reader open it basically asks the website about every second for an update. maybe something to look into if we have no problems for several months. but not something that sounds good for this website for a while.
  8. maybe. but the debt we have would not be causing inflation...or devaluing the dollar so much. you can't just print money if it has to be backed by actually having that amount of gold. sorry, but nationalizing our money back in 1913 and then eliminating the gold competition in 33 was the worst thing to do. would you nationalize anything else in our country? you're against nationalizing the oil companies right?... how is nationalizing currency any different?
  9. sweet, some new fluids, and better breathing has always meant more HP!!!!!! and better tire wear, WOOHOO!

  11. yeah, the unions had a good cause....in the 20s-...60s? now a days it's more of a burden.
  12. pontiac and saturn should not surprise... no "trucks"
  13. i don't know of "The economist"... I was commenting on a portion of bookTV I saw. I prolly should have said that, sorry.
  14. the lowest gm brands are hummer and GMC, not really surprising though.
  15. economists rarely talk about what should be done, they typically talk about the status of the "environment" currently. just remember that washington doesn't live in a supply demand idealism, west point doesn't teach econ as supply demand.
  16. the link takes me to an online "virus scan"....

    Iran...

you may be right, but his voting record in the past ~2 years have been right in line with what bush "wanted". he was outspoken against what was going on with detainees ~5 years ago, but he changed. he's a maverick, but not one that can hold the same opinion for more than a couple years.
  20. so 1/4 mile times are just under a mustang GT 1/4 i saw on past times...

    Iran...

I heard he didn't have a good speech here, in Cape Girardeau, when he made a stop ...maybe 6-7 weeks ago. we've gotten a tad off topic. hehe
  23. very nice. count down to production ~4 months
  24. wisdom teeth extracted ~1230. it's ~330 now. starting to get sore a little, but not feeling to bad... could be the pain killers still in me?

    Iran...

well since it's state santioned by their "war dept"... that's war, but i basically agree if you're trading and interacting with other countries in diplomacy. it can't be called isolationism. starting wars, and sanctioning countries is more isolating than the "mind your own business" mind set obama is a lawyer, right? Obama says he's a christian but nothing he says, that i've heard about, is christian, so who's nutty now? BO prolly thinks 1 trillion would be transfered from the war effort since he wants to get ..combat troops out, i think 1 or 2 battalions /month for the past couple years, yes. some of his views were conservative before recently. like when he wanted trials for gitmo people back in 03. but again, niether candidate has held firm idea ground from what i know. sorry if i seem a little off to day, all wisdom teeth removed earlier.
