  1. interesting.. why doesn't ford bring these cars over here?!
  2. i liked the car in my sig....only problem was the engine crapped at some point and was replaced with a rebuilt ..in 91 maybe? I still wish I could have kept it... but i think the frame may have had been bent slightly...? best midsize in 30 years... we are aware that that term has meant different things in that 30 years, right?
  3. from the one pic on here. mostly agree with DF. i looked at it and thought civic front, cobalt rear, with a tad of nissan in the grill. stylewise, it's not bad... i'm sure everyone will just agree it's very derivative. looking at the article a few focus elements in there too, not sure if it's old or new focus. the rear lights ...are kinda lexusish.
  4. that's cause of nafta, they choose to do that. story submited to local paper.
  5. the 4.5L? isn't that supposed to be coming "soon"... 1-2 years? ...slated for the suburban/yukon, h2 and the trucks? it's not a big change visually
  6. maybe the best way to do it is just randomly check his history, some times, in the browser when he's out...and just watch for "warning signs"......?
  7. that sounds like you'd need a third party program for that....you can prolly do that in aim, but then he could prolly just turn that option back on. are you worried he'll go to bad websites or you just try keep track of what he does (not as a spy, just good parenting)?
  8. key logger? if you really don't trust him.... but that's pushing it.
  9. no offense, but you think Obama will change things? http://massdiscussion.blogspot.com/2008/06...flip-flops.html McCain has tons more though....he's been at it longer. edit just found on digg.com http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-sirota...o_b_109831.html
  10. ...government welfare. not that most of americans don't "love us some welfare". government shouldn't get involved with private matters unless it's unlawful....even then it's almost never actual federal laws, and always get's taken care of by the states.
  11. yes, but this will go into cars already using ~150hp engines and less, and if this engine has a flat torque curve like the 2.0L T, then it won't have much problem getting up to 60,70, or 80. Dwight, I see what you mean with this article, but while turbos are kinda expensive, they know how to use them very well, compared to putting HCCI in an engine, when there is not an engine on the market yet that uses that. HCCI will come around maybe in the mean time, but for the first few years, i think turbos will do fine while they get lots of various use out of the "epsilons" they sell with the HCCI engines to fine tune the tech more and bring the cost down, hopefully.
  12. if he's using aim, i'm guessing he is on the net.... not sure if windows can do it, but sounds like you may need a port blocker program. and block all except aim.... obviously pictures and text can still be sent through aim though.... but also know that if you really want to be nosy, aim is typically unencrypted....so you can "intercept" those messages and read them, how this is done.... i know some switches can port forward, but i'm not heavily into networking.
  13. thanks. went to see WallE with that family already today. good movie
  14. because mini's or something a little bigger don't have small turbo's for cheap. lol maybe 2/3s of those needs will come with the Groove....the amenities will cost about 2K more but add just enough weight to make it less fun to drive.
  15. yes. I'm typically too shy to go out by myself, and ~80% of my friends don't go out to meet people. last year I found someone my age, and very fun to talk to, on hot or not (when messaging was free for about 3-4 months) we still keep in touch online. distance, current life goals, and religion were big factors in it not lasting. we still consider each other good friends. my shyness and anxiety kept my time i visited her short. our personalities are quite close as far as humor and such went. if you're going to search online, don't be in a hurry, and don't limit yourself too narrowly.
  16. you might have to look at a "third party" ... libertarian or constitutional parties.
  17. yeah
  18. BuddyP.... my dad would be envious of your work shed. lol mine. pc games, mostly older ones, I don't have a 64bit capable machine. biking when it's nice Used to be into Magic cards, but i don't want to spend the money on that anymore. consumer electronics....but not buying many of them.
  19. as a tax payer....NO! well luckily or not, the fed really isn't part of the government...other than it's "allowed" powers. uh..what else. McCain is only trying to look very conservative now that he has no competition. He's one bad moth SHUT YOUR MOUTH, just talking about McCain't. LOL just made that up.

  23. why would the NG aura be postponed for mpg reasons? is it taking on weight? ...unless they're focusing on delta 2 and Gamma instead.
