  1. the other side of it is prolly 90% of our tracks couldn't handle high speed trains.. aka 100mph+. .. maybe even not 70mph+...? anyway, they can make it stronger with less material being that the usa prolly has a lot higher % of trains hitting things left on tracks. cars/buses/the like. if the USA had a serious high speed track, even 1, from DC to st louis to denver to san fran. i'd think we would see a resurgence of streamlined trains.
  2. if the trade in value of the GC doesn't plummet because of the gas price... high octane may be recommended, but i hope not except on SC/TC engines. meaning, i hope the 3.6DI starts a trend with regular being the "best" to use, at least with anything "high volume".
  3. it's not a political issue, it's an engineering issue. on digg there was a link saying dupont made some biobutanol (sp?) that was ~ 85% the energy of gas , instead of ethanol's ~70%most, but didn't need any modifications to use mixed with gasoline. (i think it was dupont) jay leno showed a better than 90% efficient water heater w/tank on "living with Ed"
  4. looks good, now just need some photos to put texture to them.
  5. those pics make me miss my 83 regal...even if HI didn't work.
  6. only question about the interior... how easy would it be to hit the cruise on and the accelerate button if you're not paying attention?
  7. almost, the renders had much less air bag spaceexterior...unknown if better than the new bu, other than lights and grill work. interior... nice, but nothing that'll blow the competition away from what i see
  8. that's crazy, and i've never seen an idler pulley do that either. lol
  9. i'm having to guess "bus power" is for any accessories you plug into the back of the headunit, like if you added a cd changer. brown wire would be if your cell phone had a thing to mute the radio if you had an incoming call.
  10. not looking into a mazda3? i got nothing to add otherwise, unless she could be swaid into an astra
  11. ah, oil pan cracks... trip into a creek backwards but a tiny one in my 3.1 low oil sensor's area, black silicone and quite a few heat cycles sured up that crack and afaik hasn't leaked for about 2 years. the pan was really cheap, but didn't feel like them needing to slide then engine toward the fender to work on it was worth the $$$$
  12. will people that buy the audi name their car abrams? i would. lol this will be interesting when they show it, be it good or bad, previous released models show promise, keep that in mind.
  13. WOOOIE, don't we all love early 80's beasts of engines! hehe....
  14. i really dislike "browed" head lights on suvs or x-overs, like the infinity Q56 , the lincoln also, iirc. i think it's trying to hard to be a sporty bmw than the x-over it is. does the hybrid use the v-8 also?
  15. looks sharp, but it would be an acura here, right...design wise.
  16. the steering wheel is the low point of the interior.
  17. you passing your holden hatred onto someone to carry on your spirit?
  18. any chance the laX/regal could be a sedan/coupe duo? velite/riviera halo car park ave replace lucurne as mid range car for buick enclave. does buick need a delta car? a TE vehicle? does it need a poll?
  19. my friend showed this to me... i should've passed it on.. business time is hilarious too
  20. no buick on there, whew. lol
  21. aka:toyota being a monopolizer. GM being a capitalist. Go GM!
  22. any luck them putting the 3.6 and 6speed in the convertible? is the g6 getting a makeover next year? i saw a g6 with that wing before... not horrid, but eh. not sure if it was a gxp. kinda looks to much like the last grandam GT which is good and bad.
  23. and proof the majority of law makers don't listen to the highest educated in fields of law consequences. (that make sense?)
