  1. yeah.. at least it's faster than the 2 years we had to wait for the camaro.
  2. 2.11 in town earlier today.... it's .07 cheaper 30 miles north...
  3. that's why you got to get big money out of gov't.... the FED. I'm all for competition, but i don't want to pay twice for a product... anything that is subsidized.
  4. it's needed, but it is a little too much sky styled....?
  5. the second half. lol I don't think i'd have much in common with them if that were the case. a big plus if they drove a pre wbody car... pre 88. i'm kinda thinking a G-body or A body....as long as it wasn't a total POS on the outside. a killer would prolly be a prius or other way over hyped car....aka spent way more money than was needed. but maybe she's just loaded...i wouldn't be against that. lol
  6. good for no central planning.....oh wait.
  7. yeah.. i just skimmed. lol if it's still the 3.6/2.8 block...it will be heavier than needed but cheaper.... oh well. prolly have ~225lbft? can i put it in place of my 3.1L/4speed ?!!!!! almost 3/4's the displacement of the 3.8, but 20% more power and same torque. that's why i think developing a small CIB v6 would be a great N/A compromise powerplant for small and midsize cars (~2800 lbs to ~3400lbs?) too bad gm doesn't have the money to develop a gas engine like how they made the 4.5L diesel. talk about truely "SS" epsilons... CuI/power ratio of the LNF, 3.0L putting out 380hp+ in a very compact and light powerplant.
  8. assuming this is true... is it, 1. just a larger 2.8 motor? 2. an imported design? 3. mostly new? if the output is right, it will be more powerful than ford's 3.0 obviously motors have to make cafe regs ...I'm sure gearing will be very well matched for a motor like this. hopefully this will be a motor that is more diverse than what the 2.8L could be used for. 2.8L block is the same as 3.6L? hopefully the 3L is more compact/lighter
  9. eh... both "tickets" are pretty horrid...unless BO has been lying to get into office..but that'd mean his career is a lie. Palin is slightly populist according to...ontheissues.org , so is biden. http://www.ontheissues.org/Sarah_Palin.htm http://www.ontheissues.org/Joe_Biden.htm YAY! ~95% sure http://www.ontheissues.org/Chuck_Baldwin.htm
  10. cause it may not stop anything...it'll keep them in debt several more years...?
  11. hope he recovers. that's a pretty bad wreck.
  12. http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121909 if that's correct.... the 3.6 should be replacing the 4.3 ...since the other ohv v6s are dying a slow death too.
  13. 28/31 is quite good. this would be great to replace my family's van/truck and still beable to tow our boat...
  14. Thread resurrection and slightly different: EU Calls For 'New World Governance' ugh.
  15. i don't normally pay attention to thread dates at first... wow is this old, i though Dsuupr was back for a minute. havne't seen him around for a while
  16. well.. i'm sure they kept it to american market mass produced models...?

  19. how's the mileage doing on it ocn?
  20. I think a better V6 would certainly help keep Chrysler going...they might cut the engine plan back some, but they have to keep 1 or 2 alive , they can't survive on 4's, turbo 4s, and hemis.
  21. these "we're back" topics usually are hilarious.

    20/20 special

ok ok.... maybe she is the "shinning star" that holds the view together. lol but awards aren't what they used to be... NOBEL--->Gore. yeah. I'm sure there are better unknown reporters than her that haven't gotten any awards.... just for counter point.

    20/20 special

Croc, isn't she on "the view" now? i know tons of people think they know how to fix problems (barber shops? lol ), but anyone that "hosts" a show like that can't still be considered one of america's great investigative journalists .... I was never a big 20/20 watcher, only andy roony was somewhat fun to watch back in the day.. he was kind of a daily show segment... not in how funny it was, but it was so much lighter than the rest of it. maybe he's just trying things like the daily show does... his content goes out of it's way to be kind of absurd, but as with some absurd things, it's really the truth, but we don't want to know or listen so we just pass it up and label it absurd, instead of having a debate about it.

so the host puts you off, not the content... wow. edit: no offense, but that's what is going to elect worse and worse people to public office.
