  1. Congrats on the new ride! I've grown more and more fond of the Flex. When it first came out I absolutely hated it's styling. It always felt awkward but, maybe with my change in lifestyle with age and home ownership, it grew on me to the point where I would have bought one had I been able to find one packaged the way I liked it.. refreshed and AWD but as @surreal1272 mentioned, it was ecoboost only(which I also would have wanted) and then the prices jump pretty quick. Oh and also after having Sync3, it would have had to have been a 2016+.. Not cheap ones. I almost never like dark blue vehicles with black wheels/accents but I think this looks great. Maybe I just love the blue that much or maybe it actually works but I'd love this one:
  2. Dear Tesla, Wanna play those gimmicky games? Sincerely, Rivian
  3. @dfelt, I could probably google the answer but I feel like you have the knowledge as well. Theoretically, if an EV Semi(or car/truck/SUV) were to wreck into a lake/river, I assume there is less cleanup as there's no diesel fuel to cleanup? The question though, other than for the battery cooling/heating system(which passenger vehicles also have cooling systems), is there any other contaminants to pollute the waters similarly like a diesel? This came up because(the above pic) and we locally had a semi crash into our lake(not sure how or why as I saw no trailer attached either, but that's besides the point) and it made me think if EV vehicles will also help in that regard.
  4. That's a lot of charging stations in one location.
  5. Those numbers are pretty damn fantastic. It's a shame it's a $4000 option.
  6. Happy belated birthday, @surreal1272!
  7. I completely agree.
  8. None of the MSRP's are under 35k at my dealership(17 Blazers) but they're all discounted. https://www.steveschmittauto.com/VehicleSearchResults?make=Chevrolet&model=Blazer
  9. It's the R&D that costs all of the money they're accounting to when referencing a "loss". At least that's how I view it. I can't imagine parts and labor to assemble would cost THAT much.
  10. Nothing Cadillac has come out with new in the last year or two has been remotely desirable next to their respective competitors. There is no way their brand image has the status of Mercedes, Audi, or BMW.
  11. I know I certainly would.
  12. Just like cars.. No limit on how many they can make. Mercedes has 19 different cars.
  13. You can see those vertical slots.
  14. Yeah, the Escalade always had a "statement" feel to it and I realize this is just some stolen pictures that probably shouldn't have been taken but it feels like a 20% larger XT6 and that's about it(exterior). The interior looks really good though.
  15. It isn't that this is ugly, it's just mundane as fck.
  16. This gives off an awkward CMax or Bolt profile sitting low but a CUV-like profile.
  17. I don't see the Performance Package listed... THAT'S ALL I'LL NEED!!
  18. The same could be asked even for a shift lever if that's the case, because everything is electronic and not mechanical any way. I think it's safe to say there are built in safeties but I'm not willing to test it out on my Lincoln.
  19. Not the prettiest thing I've ever seen, especially in Z71 guise. Then again, almost every single thing Chevy has released in the last 2-3 years has looked worse than the outgoing model...and I typically like newer vehicles.
  20. They don't have any cash on the hoods, according to their website. They're all lease deals, FWIW.
  21. 80k units per year in a $100,000+ vehicle is anything but low volume. That's 2-4 times what the Corvette sells and I think we all agree the Vette sells very well for it's price. https://www.motortrend.com/news/new-cadillac-escalade-ct5-v-no-blackwing-v8/ Costs.
  22. I'll believe it when I see it with GM axing everything or making everything FWD-based...along with throwing away the 4.2 Blackwing.
  23. "Flat plane crank" and "torque" is an oxymoron.
